Visisted the New Terminal 21 Mall Yet?
ttk replied to jacko's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Was there 2 days after it opened. Not sure how many from Bangkok are going to be coming on a regular basis....it looks almost identical to the one in Bangkok. They do need to sort out traffic, it funnels out into a giant parking lot. -

Wow .... You think it will take hours of repetion to learn how to use a clutch???? You never mention what will happen after the 5-10M ride.....most people would use the brakes to stop....but you never mention learning the "friction point" of the brakes. Sounds like it would be best to give up the screaming and idea to even ride a MC

Brexit is a big deal if you live in the EU. Google tells me that is only 6.9% of the worlds population. China accounts for around 19% with India another 18%. All told, Asia has 62% and Africa 16%. Neither of these continents will be impacted much I do not see any major impact to 93.1% of the worlds population no matter what happens. Again, Google says the British Pound has fallen 12% or so against the Euro and 5% against the USD. That is great news for the EU and USA. Y2K was hard to avoid unless you lived in a 3rd world country without any modern technology. My point was that a

Anyone recall the Y2K doom and gloom? Computers will crash and the world will come to an end. Turned out it was all BS and only a few very trivial hiccups. I suspect BREXIT to be the same. All doom and gloom by people with agendas

New rules being enforced or just unlucky guys?.
ttk replied to Butch's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I always use my drivers license at exchange booths. They have yet to require a passport. In case they ever do, another booth is close by. Loosing a passprot would cause all kinds of headaches that I avoid by not carrying it. -

Never seen them jump on a bike and give chase. They do tend to setup checkpoints at natural chokepoints (entrance to walking street, red lights, and other places where you must slow down) . They will then jump in front and grab the bike keys. -

A while back I heard that you will not be able to rent a motorcycle without the IDP. Can anyone verify that this is the case now? I googled for rules and all I can come up with is this. "According to the UN Traffic Act of 1949 and the Thai Traffic Act of 1979, an IDP is not required if you are a tourist/visitor in Thailand as long as your license is in English, has a photo, and your country is a contracting state of the 1949 treaty, which most are." That would indicate that they are not required for most drivers. -
The airline website. If I flew infrequently and had zero status in an airline flyer program, I would probably use search engines for cheapest flights.

Chinese "VIP" tourists get dedicated immigration lines
ttk replied to syd_tybil's topic in Airline Discussion
They may be 1/3 of tourists but they probably take way over 1/2 the time to get through. Ever watch them in line? I was unfortunate enough to hpget stuck behind a plane full one time. They get to the front and then realize they need to fill out the immigration form. At that point they stand there , or just palnt themselves on the floor, and fill out the form...blocking the entire line. -
I always pack 2 carryon suitcases, one gets checked and one stays with me. So far the only late bag was Cebu from Manilla. The bag was not there even after about 1 hour to get through immigration. I went to the lost bag counter and in and 30 minutes of waiting and checking to confirm it was lost, they did the paperwork. Just as I was about to leave and run to bell Travel to catch the bus to Pattaya that was now leaving in about 20 minutes, they got a radio message that my bag had arrived. Funny thing though, they never deleted the report and I kept getting messages that it had not been found

Korean Air Airbus 380-800 has 407 with 94 prestige being 2,2,2 seating in the upper deck. Korean Air 77 has 277 seats with 36 prestige being 2,2,2 between first and economy sections Both via Incheon Korea Since you are choosing between 2 airports I will guess you live in neither city and would have a comuuter flight first. My choice would depend on total travel time but would also consider the cluster Fxxx of getting on and off. With 777 you get off after first but before any economy, with 380 and being in the upper section, how fast? Do they hold evonomy until all prestige

Photoshop is a highend solution I have used it for years and still learning. Lots of simpler apps available. Again though, you would have much better luck with an indication of what you are trying to do. Restore older photos, add or delete parts, enhance physical attributes, fake Id or passport........... all and more are possible but,,,,,

An immigrant husband, with a poor command of the English language, struggled to explain to the doctor, that his wife could not have children, saying 'she is unbearable'. Getting a blank stare, he tried: 'she is impregnable'. Then finally, he figured he had it right: 'she is inconceivable!'

Just what are you refering too? ANYONE born in the US is automatically a citizen. It does not matters if you can trace your lineage to the Pilgrims or if your mom spit you out on the beach after she just waded ashore. Perhaps you are refering to DACA and the so called dreamers? If so, they are children born in another country and brought to the US by their parents when THEY came illegally. They were not born in the US and are not US citizens. They been living in the US illegally since they were brought into the country

BA to become 'Airline of Choice'!? BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ttk replied to Goldpanner's topic in Airline Discussion
Just saw on the news that BA is eliminating seats that recline for shorter flights to lower ticket prices....(by adding more seats??.) http://www.foxnews.com/travel/2018/01/09/british-airways-to-remove-reclining-seats.html
