  1. You have a twisted mind. I don't know how you can see what you do in those photo's.
  2. It's worth every penny. Not as good as MS Office IMO, but works for the casual use I have at home. For work, it's MS Office for me.
  3. Got a bit of surgery coming up, nothing life threatening, I'm planning a April trip - AFTER Songkran! Looking forward to the reports of a European win in November,
  4. Thanks, I have a Lloyds CC so I'll bear that one in mind.
  5. Damn, the Nationwide was my last option for commission free Sterling TCs. Many places do € or $ cheques but they hit you on the exchange rate. As I don't trust cards in LOS, looks like I'll be paying 1% on TCs next trip. Not ideal, that's an evenings money gone or I'll be carrying cash next trip. Hey, I've got 3 (small) accounts with the Nationwide and it's a mutual society, so I own a bit of it, maybe I should march in and demand that they do TCs again? Might work.
  6. If you're on Windows, I don't think you CAN uninstall IE, it's built in to the operating system. Upgrade yes, but not remove.
  7. Well, having read this whole thread, I haven't smiled once. Not funny.
  8. Thanks, I did search the forum for Jet, but didn't think to try Mumbai as well. The reviews on airlinequality (I have them bookmarked but forgot about them ) seem to have a common theme; planes OK, ground staff not and Mumbai very not. That'll be a NO then. I'd put up with the sort of things mentioned for a really cheap flight, but this one isn't. Thanks again.
  9. I'm looking at flights for next April - yes, I know it's early, I have to sort dates at work early or maybe lose them. So far the cheapest I can see with acceptable times at both ends and reasonable changeovers are Jet @ £575 I've never used them, after a bad experience with Biman about 10 years back I swore off that whole sub-continent, but I'm considering them now. Any opinions from those who have actually flown with them would be appreciated. If you haven't used them, please don't reply, thanks.
  10. Did that last November. Seconded.
  11. Sorry, you mailed a SCOOTER? Are we talking about the same thing; 2 wheels, handlebars, engine..........
  12. This proves to show that, just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you SHOULD. Oh, and Villa, WTF man.
  13. Look at your little finger. Don't put anything smaller than that in your ear or you risk damaging your hearing. I speak from experience, fortunately I had only damaged the ear canal, not the hearing bits, so it healed OK. IMHO, if your little finger won't do it, have a doctor do it. Your hearing is too easily ruined to involve an amateur. Sea water does a fair job though, so finding a clean beach and going for a swim will shift most wax. Scuba is even better.
  14. No one in the UK, our number plates have to have numbers on them.
  15. It's my ringtone. Puts a smile on my face every time, pisses off the rest of the office though.
  16. Heeey, I posted, it was a whole 2 words - and a smiley.
  17. When is the last time you bought Carlsberg in LOS? I haven't seen it for 7 or 8 years now.
  18. I've got £10 on the USA at 6/1 - I got into work on Thursday and they'd decorated the desks in England colours, including mine, so I'm betting on the opposition.
  19. A possible addition to Adams day-time crawls?
