I went to my favorite standby the sandy springs. I am a member so delux seaview is 1200 baht. Rooms was bigger than mercure, bathroom was bigger than mercure. Price was 500 baht less. Pool is small. No wireless internet. Mecure has wireless internet but you pay like 180 baht for 1 hours use. Mercure is a brand new hotel and it shows. Sandy is a few year old and you can tell. between 2nd rd and beach road so easy to get anywhere. Mercure is probably 1kilo from 2nd road. I was just checking fares for february on united. Currently it quoted me $742 for a roundtrip plus an extra 5% of the ticket for being a united ff if I entered my number. Cheap fares can be found many places. EVA showed delux class available for 902 for the same dates of travel.

If you have the money then you will find younger better looking girls in bangkok. But it will cost you. Probably 1.5 to 2 times as much on average. But there are plenty of good lookers in pattaya. I stayed there in dec. The reservation people are idiots. The online reservations showed I had a confirmed reservation but the staff insisted I didn't have a reservation. I have stashed both an ibm 12in laptop in the safe art residence gardens as well as a 14 inch widescreen compaq. both fit with no problems. BTW I recently stayed at the Mercure in pattaya the in room safe is a very odd size. My 14 compaq would not fit in the safe and I doubt if my ibm would have either. Nice thing with a sandy springs suite it has 2 full baths with complete sets of towels. If you are into shaging more than 1 girl at a time you have plenty of towels and room to play. I stayed at Mercure and had a queen suite for 1700 baht. IT SUCKS. the regular queen room for 1400 baht was better. queen suite at Mercure is a joke. They do have a nice pool.

I have plugged in flash drive at many places and have never been refused when i asked. The seagate drive is not a flash drive, it is a mini hard drive. about the size of a small mouse. a good deal at $99. if a small drive is all that is required then there are plenty of falsh drives availabe. I think I would buy in us or UK or at least make sure I go to pantip plaza in bkk if I was going to buy in LOS.

(1 for the boss 2 for me, 1 for the boss 2 for me) The thing that has always impressed me about FLB was the girls, ahem, the cashiering girls. FLB has a very good accounting and cash system from what I have seen. Very important in a cah based business.

OJ, I have stayed at the silom soffitel. It was a couple of years ago. With Bee no less. remember her??? No you wil be able to find a room. But you ight not find it at the price you want or in the area you want. If you want a higher type hotel mariot etc you may find it hard to get without paying avery high price. Booking in advance allows you to use travel agents who usually can get you better prices than going to the hotel directly. But travel agents can take up to 2 days to get you an answer.
