Stayed at the Bay Breeze plenty of times, good value in my opinion. Like said before once the staff get to know you it is sure to be good. Has a pool as well. Give the night security guard (fat bloke, bald head) a packet of cigarettes every now and then and he will make sure every thing is taken care of. Cheers, Kev

Bay Breeze is a good cheap hotel - make sure you get a refurbished room though. I stay there every year when over in Pattaya and there is no joiner fee for sure. 100m to Walking Street - I don't think so - more like 1km, but easy to walk down to beach road and jump on a baht bus.

Read in our local paper today if you change the sound setting of your TV equalizer to below should cancel alot of the noise out. Push 100HZ channel all the way up. Drop the 300HZ channel all the way to the bottom. Drop the 1KHZ channel all the way to the bottom. Set the 10KHZ channel in the middle. It is the beer I drink when I'm up in the village in Chaiyaphum, not a bad drop and never a hang over to complain about. Cheap up in the sticks - 100 bahts for 3 big bottles from local village shop or you can buy a carton of 12 up the road in town for 300 bahts. Last time when I was in Pattaya I bought some from the 7-11 around the corner from the Bay Breeze.
