  1. Not sure about Pattaya but last trip (Feb this year) I bought myself a decent mountain bike (21 speed, disc brakes, front shockies) large solid frame (I'm 195 cm tall) for 6,300 bahts from a small Thai bike shop in Chaiyaphum. I could have bought a dual shock one for about the same price but he advised I would be a bit heavy for the dual shock. Yes I know it is not Pattaya but I'm sure there are Thai bike shops in Pattaya as well and I was just trying to indicate the price of a decent mountain bike to the OP. In comparision at home in Oz I ride a Giant Boulder mountain bike and the one
  2. Anyone with a signature that advertises a cheap Kalgoorlie hotel in bloody Kambalda....miles away...seriously needs to be questioned....especially with one post to your name.
  3. 40 inch waist considered slim, shite sinback how tall are you?
  4. No offence here but did you give Mr T a ring and ask him what the F was going on? Myself I have not used Mr t except on my first trip over way back in 2000, a friend of mine organised it and yep no show....first time I was a bit worried but no problem in the end, got to paradise eventually. Walked down there the next day and got our refund for the no show.
  5. Jacko you are about 9 posts too late with that reply.....
  6. Shite now that is a bloody good idea, all the direct airlines should do the same, I'm sure their customs officials would apprteciate getting out of the airport as well.
  7. Whoops didn't realise he was a she, oh well you get my drift anyway

  10. cicero you gave the name of the place in previous reply to this topic ktk pattaya....standard suite 14,000 per month
  11. Depends on your version of "luxury", it is a personal perspective IMO. I was just referring to the price range he stated for 3 - 4 months, you would get a fairly high standard of accommodation for that price, Unless of course you are used to paying rip off prices like they charge at the Sheraton or the likes.
  12. You will get luxury at that price, maybe looks at condo rentals for long term like at View Taly 6 - lookup the Dance watchers site. www.dancewatchers.com
  13. I was in Patts Feb and we caught a "VIP" bus from Pattaya to Caiyaphum (sorry don't know name or anything as missus got MB taxi and got the tickets day before) only thing was it didn't leave until 6 in the evening (I think there is one at 6 in the morning....too early for me). Wasn't bad but would prefer to travel at a better time, pretty pissed by 6 at night . Anyway coming back we caught a bus to Bangkok - it left at 1 in the morning but was at Mochit bus station in 4 1/4 hours, pretty bloody quick!!!
  14. Had to lookup SSD, sounds good but secure? Never heard of it before so in this case I'm a newbie but would like to know more?
  15. A burning smell coming from the cockpit I could understand on a Thai flight.....most likely a chilli fart from the pilot.
  16. Not sure if this is the right one you are after http://www.greenparkpattaya.com/
  17. I have eaten there every time I'm on holidays in Pattaya (well sinced it opened) and I can't fault it. Yes sometimes they are busy, just drink a few more beers while waiting.
  18. Looks like a good place, we are going there in February so will check it out, thanks for the link yorta.
  19. Ah you mean he is no longer a member here Jacko, I thought he may have met with his demise or something while riding that bike of his!

  24. Sorry to here that both Mick and Bushcraft. Yep since the bird flu came out years ago I get a flu shot every year now - work in OZ provides it for free.
  25. Don't know what quality you are looking for but BayBreeze does monthly rates - advertised on their website. And they have just finished refurbishing the hotel (I think they have finished anyway). http://www.baybreezepattaya.com/
