  1. Disunited routinely ranks near the bottom of US Airlines ... which likely ranks them near the bottom world-wide.
  2. I'm trying to chat up BM Bouquetta but she is playing hard to get. Guess I will have to drown my sorrows this evening at Hanrhan's in Soi4 Bkk over a few pints of draught and a Weekend roast dinner.
  3. Reading Sman's response, i.e., snow-capped mountains outside his place, to a recent reader story, he must be away from Thailand currently. "As I write this I am sitting in a beachfront unit with views of a bar and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The unit would be about 70 square metres and is fully featured with everything you need, quality materials and nice touches like good coffee and a quality coffee maker. It's the equivalent of 2,150 baht per night. I don't think you would get this sort of quality and setting in Thailand for the same price."
  4. to watch Fox News.
  5. Just a guess on my part. I don't follow him closely but I suspect he is still trying to sustain his website remotely while he struggles to unload it for whatever he can get for it. I'm guessing someone will gradually transfer/transition some of Sickman's contents, e.g., the "stories" somewhere else over this year and Sman will have to continue some presence virtually one way or another so gullible newbies will still visit the site. But you have to laugh that Sickman still describes himself as "your Bangkok correspondent" ... 555.
  6. 555, yeah the Tampa based Outback chain is about as renown for good steaks as the Sizzler.
  7. Quien sabes but I think he posts from outside Thailand now sort of like when he took the hiatus after his scuffle with his stalker.
  8. I don't know but rather took it that he would not leave himself open for being charged with libel/slander which his last weekly would apparently be construed to be in Thailand so he posted it outside Thailand.
  9. Yeah, but the brave warrior didn't post the hatchet job until he left Thailand. So he's just a weasel and not a stupid weasel. He may have a career in the Law. Maybe Noyes will hire him.
  10. 11. 555, it takes time to cash in those 7/11 stamps.
  12. Free, i.e., no fee ATM withdrawals from Thai accounts ... all banks ... this Songkran.
  13. Lord please look after Kevin Bacon
  14. It is probably a safe bet that Stickman claims credit for it in his blog this week.
  15. Williams and Hilly should buy a team and hire ttk to manage it. He could accompany them to games in a helicopter landing under fire.
  16. You mad Bro?
  17. Yeah... Google "Sherman you mad bro?" class
  18. he apparently does not appreciate the payback of Edelman dissing Sherman after Sherman got in Brady's face in a previous game the Seahawks happened to beat Brady. Pay back is hell.

  20. I was going with it being "sort of" dancing.

  22. They have no good wideouts. The best one in the Super Bowl was from their practice squad. Kearse and Baldwin are just so so. They need at least one good speed wideout and a slot receiver like the Patriots' Edelman. Maybe they can draft one but if they dump $100 million or so on Wilson with a $10 million or so cap hit for next year they won't be able to get a good burner free agent. The Percy Harvin fiasco is going to be hard to recover from now. They will be good next year but they will fall off if they cannot sign some free agents for depth at least. An argument can be made that they are too thin defensively as it is. Brady had his way with the secondary after Jeremy Lane broke his wrist.
  23. Doubtful, Seattle had to stay out of the blue chip free agent market last year to sign/retain Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman. They were fortunate that Russell Wilson was such a gem but they want to re-sign him in 2015 to a long term deal as his 4 year $3 million rookie deal expires at the end of 2015. That is going to take a $100 million contract and a $10 million cap hit to do and they don't have that space, so they will be losing more key players again then like Browner and Tate then they pick up. Losing the $10 million cap space cushion they have had on QB for the past few years is going to hurt. Browner sure made the right choice this year though.
  24. Don Mueang is still an international airport.
