Well done Floyd,I agree that is a good deal.However I am only "Silver" card and have done in depth research of the latest "UN-Amazing Thailand" deals released just 4 days ago.Unlike previous years where there deals were good,this year they are CRAP.I tried to book for a July dep.for 30 days no problem,however on these "Amazing" deals there were NO return seats to be had until OCTOBER,so just what use these flights are to the average monger defeats me. They should IMHO be investigated for false/lying advertising,I fired of a query to head office over this,only to have it refered back to Thai

I can only compare MY price from last Oct/Nov and have been quoted by Jeff the SAME price for the SAME room for my next stay in Jul/Aug,although it is more than your 7500 previous quote,it is MILES away from 22.000 on a monthly rate. Maybe as it is considered the low season has some bearing as I know he did increase his rates for the high season just on my last departure!

Recently sent this card,will somebody please list entitlements for me.Have checked web site but really cannot see advantages.I was surprisingly upgraded to premium on my last trip home and given a pass for free use of lounge,this despite only having only 24,000 qualifying miles,is this normal or was I just lucky to strike an excellent check-in LADY!Just BTW a few weeks later when I checked my mileage,no deduction had been done,is this normal? I am referring to the SILVER card!

I was upgraded on my return trip last November,and I found it very very good.The service was outstanding,as was the quality of food and drink.Would I pay the difference?probably not as I have retired and can find better things for my money,if I could afford it then YES everytime!

You are quite correct,especially regarding Thai there prices from here in the Pacific region to Bangkok,have increased by 20% and a total lack of deals available at the moment! This to me is strange as the price of fuel (So often an excuse for increases) has in fact fallen over the past few weeks.

Thanks Keny,These are the cheap Thai fares,and whilst still being advertised all over the place have been sold out now for many weeks as Thai only offers a very small percentage of seats at these prices per flt plus they are not even accepting "Stand-byes" on these fares. I think these are the "Amazing Thailand" promotions refered to by "Fonz" earlier and IMHO still advertising them is downright dishonest and should be removed or prosecuted under out trade descriptions act.

I'm informed that most of the drivers are Bangkok based,so no overnight expense involved.At least in Tooms case!

I have been to SOI 6 and Welcum Inn both on numerous occasions,and it is just stupid to compare these locations with "Hell" or "Eden" like comparing apples and oranges.The short answer is that if you object to the H&E's business practices then simply stay away,but as far as value for money goes,simply UNBEATABLE!

If you would consider SOI LKMETRO which is really same location,then you would open the door to many more accomodations. P.M. me if require LKMetro suggestions,as this is where I always stay.

Hi guys Whilst searching for monthly accomodation I recently came across this place and by it's web-site certainly appears to be great low season value,especially the room sizes for the money. It is located on Pratamnak hill near the Asia Pattaya hotel and Majestic Residences.This is an area I am not familiar with so any information about the Malee or surrounding area I would appreciate.

Good reputation,however the stairs are a bit of a drag if pissed up and early in the morning! Another thing is with it's location you are in grave danger of never leaving this SOI until your flight home!

She certainly does look "Farm Fresh" from her picture and her clothes style,I hope she gets her "White Knight" and in fact would lay money on her chances as many farang are truly looking for this type,providing that she remains the same disposition and does not develop the bad attitudes that go with the job in many cases. Just IMHO her "handicap" could in fact turn out to be an asset!
