I flew AMS-BKK on a KLM 747 and was very disappointed by the so called "Queen of the Skies" Have flown Air France and Etihad A340 previously and looking forward to my next A340 flight with Qatar...

But it's not just RR that having problems with engines.... Both P&W and CFM are having problems with their new generation engines... and even GE have been having problems with the GEnx.

Yep the M60 has issues, but it's not as bad as the M25!!!

In my opinion Airbus are the better aircraft, quieter and more comfortable.... but sadly I have suffer Boeing. I always try and find flight options that offer flights on Airbus.... My next trip has 2 flights on Qatar's A340-600 but unfortunately on that same trip I have to suffer 2 flights on a Qatar Boeing Nightmareliner

The A380 feels less claustrophobic and quieter.... As for getting warmer upstairs on an A380....... when I have flown upstairs I haven't noticed a temperature difference compared to downstairs...

KFC recently open a place in my home town and they screwed up badly, totally underestimating the demand. Everything is cooked to order which results in huge queues. I've never been and don't intend to.

I've just checked for my dates in May/June comparing LHR-BKK and MAN-BKK returns with Oman ..... Price from LHR £323 Price from MAN £426!!! But would I travel down to LHR to save £103??? No chance!!!

Most of the time your computer will be running idle. The cost would be quite a bit more it it was running at 100% load. My PCs run 24/7 at virtually 100% CPU and GPU load - I'm involved in "Distributed Computing" where I donate some of my computational power to scientific research (in particular medical research) running simulations to do with new drugs for cancer, HIV malaria and others. My electric bill is significantly higher than yours..... I have mined Bitcoin before, but i donated my proceeds to good causes. One lad I know is "mining" with a one of his PC's running 5 graphics cards.

I prefer to arrive BKK early morning or around Lunchtime..... arriving later I feel as though a day of the trip has been wasted...... When I'm flying from Manchester I always avoid the M60 to get to the airport.... M6/M56 for me and it's very rare I hit hold-ups..... Heading back home from MAN is different as we usually call in at the big ASDA near the Trafford Centre for supplies....... I can suffer the M60 traffic heading back home...

I stayed at I-Rovers last November , price was cheap but found the room I was staying in to be basic.... I've stayed in better for not much more..... The plus side to it being it is close to the action.....

Then once the mining has covered the cost of the mining equipment you're into profit..... Due to the value of bitcoins being so high at the moment many people have been buying PC graphics cards which can be used the mining..... the result has been a shortage in supply and prices have shot up...... I bought 2 new graphics card before xmas and their price has shot up by about 33% in a month!!!

I've done some crypto-currency mining with the proceeds being donated to charity........ Made a nice profit selling the hardware.......

Emirates has just agreed a deal with Airbus for another 20 with options on a further 16....... Despite a lot of A380 haters already writing the obituary for the A380.... BA is also talking with Airbus with regards to adding more A380 to it's fleet..... It's not dead yet!!!!
