Such a terrible thing to happen to such a vibrant person.

That is very sad news.

All the staff in the FLB seemed to be such a happy group. I am sure all her friends in the bar, and of course her family, must be devastated.

My condolences.

Just got the news from Ben as i was on my way home, A tragic shame and a lovely girl.

Another reminder of the everyday horrors that happen on the roads in pattaya.

5 people i know or have met have ended the same way, very sad.

RIP :(

What a tragic loss of a wonderful person. She was a friend to everyone in the bar.

May she rest in peace and my condolences to all her friends and family.

I like to come in early and play the dice game wth the girls. If she wasn't busy, I would always ask her to play. She would giggle and smile and she enjoyed the game. I'll miss her.

Indead very sad news. She will be missed very much by the FLB staff, customers and anyone who knew her. Sometimes like BigDUSA said, I would come in early and sit at the bar and chat with her. Always had a smile and she was a very sweet girl.

it maybe would have been a good idea to stay closed tonight as a sign of respect because i would imagine most of the girls wouldn`t have known this news until they came in, and if they are open the mood will somwhat sombre!

Its always bad news whenever anyone loses their life in a road traffic accident. But to go in such a way at 24 years old is desperately sad.

so sad day tragic news God bless Om..

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow;

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;

I am the gentle Autumn’s rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush.

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there;

I did not die.

Om was truly a lovely girl. A pleasure to work with, sharp, intelligent and sweet all at the same time. She worked with Ann and I for 4 years and became not only a trusted employee but a close personal friend as well.

We have all been devastated by the news but in true Thai fashion, many friends and relatives are coming together to support each other and to celebrate the many good things about Om that we all cherished.

The funeral will take place in Petchaboon on Monday. I will pass on everyones thoughts and good wishes to friends and family then.

The picture below was taken at Ann's birthday party in 2000. It's always been by favorite picture of Om.

Pains of the heart

Burn like a knife,

Slice you down to size,

Take away your pride.

You’ve lost your money, you can cry,

But lost your friends, say good bye.

A lost love, of so long ago,

Pain so deep you can’t know.

That tender face so far away.

That dream of it, you dream all day.

A cut so deep it never heals,

Can’t compare to how you feel.

You hold your heart in your hands,

But alone is where I must stand.

To walk, to talk,

To laugh and cry,

But my friend, this is good bye.

Deep in my heart you will always stay.

I will never be far away.

Yet in the stars, we will meet,

Then my life will be complete.

As days fly by in time and space, you must leave,

But not I, for this is my place.

In your heart will I stay? Only God can say.

But in my heart will you stay?

I’ll think about you every day.
