Has ANYBODY visited Chaiyapoon Inn

Recommended Posts

No, but would comment that it is located at the wrong end of Soi Chaiyapoon, ie, the 3rd Road end where it goes alot darker at night and has too many dodgy male karaoke bars close by.

I've been by there both in the daytime and at night. I wouldn't worry too much about the location, other than the fact that parts of that street can get a little muddy when it rains a lot.

As for the hotel itself, the few reviews I've read seemed to be a mixed bag. I suppose the place would be worth a try if the price was right.

It's OK now, they've laid tarmac the entire length so no more pot holes.

I remember seeing an advert for it on TV a couple of years ago and I think they mentioned wifi and the price. I went i too ask about it. However the price was for a a tiny room that for some reason didn't have internet. The "real" prices were too expensive for the location, imho. Might be better now with the road fixed.

Thai workmanship isn't great. Tarmac has already been repair once - still loads of potholes, there would be more if it had not been so dry. Come the wet season it will be worse than ever down there.

The potholes are back...and getting bigger every time it rains.

I hear they can actually fix roads and pot holes in other provinces. :P

Reply received,"yes, electric and daily cleaning included".

I will give it a pass though as there are better choices.

Looks like Pattaya Bay Resort again for my month visit.

Thanks everyone for the replies and drainage/street condition updates too.
