I've always used Pattaya tap water to brush my teeth and also to rinse. Who drinks water anyway? - Absolutely crappy stuff for drinking, unless it has malt, hops and sugar in it and has been processed properly into fine ale. Once I took a couple of tablets with a drink of water in a glass at a restaurant in Bangkok - was shitting (even in my sleep) for days.

Use the bottle water for brushing teeth. There is little difference between brushing your teeth with the tap water and drinking it. If you live in Pattaya for a long time like MM your body will become use to the tap water and it will probably not bother you. Why take the chance, use the bottle water. Beats being sick for a couple of days or so and the bill at the clinic.

I drink only bottled water in Thailand. I have never had a problem from brushing my teeth with tap water, just try not to swallow it. If you want to use bottled water, you could put some in a cup.

I have always used tap water and don't believe it has ever caused me a problem.

Clean your tongue on a TG who hasn't shaved for several days.......

Just use tap water but remember to spit it out and not swallow(that reminds me of something!!)

Never had any problems using tap water and it's less hassle than worrying about using bottle water every friggin day and every friggin night.

You could always use VODKA instead of tap water!!!!

I rinse with mouthwash and only clean the brush with tapwater.Tapwater never in mouth, only bottled water and assorted alcoholic beverages and an occasional Coke Zero.

I've done both. Mostly hungover and tired, hit the brush with tap while not thinking. Nothing "bad" came from it, BUT this is the key point, it is a bit of a game. For anyone who has been in thailand for a while, you are probably resistant to the "stuff" in the water, but for those on vacation its a risk. Bacteria molds, "dirt" and other "stuff". Mmmm good eatin.

Ditch the tap and stick to the pussy.

Yes, a Chlamydia infection in the eye is so much less of a problem than a dicky belly. :D

Good strategy. I do the same. If I do put the brush under the tap out of habit, I give it a rinse with Lysterine mouthwash.

I feel that the tap water is "probably" fine to rinse my mouth and the brush, but, there is absolutely NO reason to take a chance on ruining a day or two of my holiday.

The hang overs kill too many mornings as it is :D

Almost seven years in pattaya and I have never used bottled water to clean my teeth. I actually fill up a couple of bottles from the tap and put them in the fridge to get cold !!
