Still can't believe that suggestion myself. :3some

Burger King serves a very tasty flame broiled burger. Let's not forget at a reasonable price. Add in the ocean view and what more could one ask for.

There's a hell of a lot better places to eat with an "ocean" view in Pattaya...

To Denny, that is a nice upscale place. He prolly orders the whopper, wears the paper crown, and drinks the bottle of juice tied to his belt while telling his date to stick to the 99c menu.

Casa Pascal is always a favorite when feeling a bit off; mushroom rissoto, fresh bread, and a few glasses of white with two aspirin is a miracle cure.

Nasty post and threadfucking.

You recommend BK as a nice place and "I" am threadfucking? :thumbup

Maybe you didn't see the second part of my post recommending Casa Pascal.

Hows that great post-stroke diet going BurgerDUSA? :clueless

Queen Vic, nice atmosphere, not loud music but good music, large menu, good prices, cider on draft, Thai menu, cider on draft, good view of goings on in Soi 6, cider on draft, back entrance from 6/1 so you can see the ya-baa'd up ladyboys gyrating in the alley, cider on draft.

Thank you for all the nice suggestions. I decided I wanted to try the Moom Arroi which should be in Naklua - but in spite of driving slowly and trying to spot it all the way from the Loma roundabout to the Naklua market I could not find it - does anyone have a map ?

We ended up at Moom Talay at the Trattoria Tuscana - and that was nice enough too :)

Probably further than you thought

Straight through Nakleua from Dolphin roundabout, past the weekly market on the left , straight on through the Traffic Lights where you'd turn right for Bang Lamung Post Office, and straight on till the road splits with a tree in the middle and the seafood market on the left....straight on still (now you have the sea on your left), when the road vias right to go on to Sukhumvit (guess what) you dont, you go straight on...not much further theres a double car park on the right - Moom Aroy on the left

:whistling:

I'm fond of Burger King at the Royal Garden Shopping Center. If you sit outside there's a nice view of the ocean. :whistling:

Yes, definitely, and if the fine dining of Burger King is not to her liking, may I suggest the Colonel? Most excellent Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Ok, I'm done laughing now. Good one DUSA.

To me it makes all the difference because you are not being asked to move on all the time like you are in King seafood etc on WS...but as I said originally, the only things that let the place down is the choice of wine ( which used to be GREAT two years ago) and if you catch it early evening with the tour groups..

Regarding the loungers..eat your main scoff if you are hungry then order a couple of dishes of finger food like winkles etc..then chill out... :hairout

This needs to be re-written if you don't mind. :hairout

Burger King serves unhealthy junk food that will rot your brain and kill any chance your children had of passing exams if you take them there.. Let's not forget at a reasonable price because nobody would pay a premium for shit in a polystyrene box. Add in the ocean view and that justifies my blinkered American view that junk food, isn't in fact, junk food, what more could one ask for?

There you go old buddy, fixed that for you. :hairout

just remembered the Sugar Hut on the road to Jomtien. Great ambiance, tables by the pool in a tropical setting surrounded by bamboo trees. Service is sometimes lacking and slow, but who cares if you can jump in the pool while waiting? I have been there several times with different TGs after spending a few hours at the beach between Pattaya and Jomtien so we had bathing suits on already; all of them really enjoyed it.

Disclaimer: The fare served is by no means an equal to the excellent dining experience available at the Burger King.

Burger King does more business than any of the other Restaurants mentioned in this thread :thumbup

Walmart does more business than any other supermarket but it doesn't make it the best one for quality!!!!
