Looking for old girlf friend

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering, if there are any internet forums where, ex pattaya girls might go. Im trying to find an old girlfriend from about 20 years ago, when Pattaya was much smaller than now, and a lot of people knew each other. Ive searched facebook and some other directories.

Don't know where to look!

You can't go back home.

Really.

FWIW, Thai women are all over Facebook. There's no other general place they'd be.

If she is an old girl friend I guess you must know her well.

The place to start would be her birth village. Many go back 'home'..... and if not some relatives could help you further.

But honestly, for all you know she could be living anyplace on earth.

I only have an address in pattaya. I guess i was dreaming

Not really.

Still doable if you pick up where you left off.

What would you do if you were able to find her after twenty years?

Nothing wrong with dreaming. Be lucky :chogdee

She was very special, i was hoping to meet someone here on forum who knows a lot of people, and has been in Pattaya a long time who might be willing to help me.

You might stand a slight chance if you posted her picture here first...........

Ok, her nick name was Jan, her real name (i think) Jirapha Puirod.

She lived in Soi Tidawan, and worked in a bar on the pattaya sai nueang road somewhere near 13/3 crossing, just before the walking zone. The bar was quite quiet and arranged rounds of golf, can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

I have a photo or two but would rather not post them unless i get a lead...

Thanks for any help

Then you need to supply some information. There are many on this forum who used to prop up a bar in Pattaya 20 or more years ago. My hand goes up.

13/3 is pattayaland 1. Lewinskis is up there and does golf. On the Beach Rd I recall a popular Oz bar just after 13/3, now Baywatch restaurant I think.

Back then the Sugar Shack was on the corner of Beach Road & Pattayaland 1, it's a golf bar. 20 years is before my time, but I first went 15 years ago and at least one of the staff from then still works in the bar. Go in and ask, you never know................

Good point, a popular bar that I had forgotten had moved.

I think most of us have, 'chased ghosts' at some time or other. I'm now of the opinion that if you are meant to meet again, you will.

And if the OP can't find her, perhaps he can find her daughter...... or their daughter.................... :bhappy
