Tequla Reef - Cheseburger

Recommended Posts

I'm from the USA and most of the hamburgers I've tried in Thailand (with the exception of the fast food hamburgers) taste "funny" to me. People say it's just a difference in the beef and what they're fed.

Hearty review Gabs.

Some don't like gherkin, or onions, or mustard, etc. so nowadays it's served as a Build Your Own. I can deal with that but I take issue with raw onions, which serve absolutely no tasteful purpose on a burger other than an as early morning sheet stainer! :angry2

Grill those rings!

Your "two slice REAL cheese" still seem to be plastic cheese. good for you "keeping it real"

Not... I know very well the cheese.... the two slice of the cheese were real and original cheese....not a question, but a simple fact...

A great idea IMO...however it was new to me.... I liked really much the raw onions...the same you will get in any fast food hamburgers...

TR is on Soi 7, they call the item 'Cheeseburger in Paradise'. I've tried one, it was dry, my preference is Carl's Jr. And chips and salsa were always free at TR, but I like their mango margaritas.

Hello my friend, thanks for the great write up on our burger, I highly recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger in Paradise. The Salsa is homemade with fresh vegetables purchased and delivered daily. Please stop by guys we've made several improvements and business has really picked up over the last half year. Look for lots of new menu additions, buffets and promotions in the very near future. Also there is 10% off for Pattaya Talk members, just mention you are a member to the cashier BEFORE ordering. We've listened to your input over the years and appreciate all your comments, both good and bad. This has really helped us make some crucial adjustments and improvements.

I tried the cheeseburger last night and was very happy with it. I don't know what the seasoning in the meat was, but it was quite tasty. The burger was drier than many but not problem. I had the coleslaw as the side, which was excellent as well. It was a very good meal. :thumbup

Salsa and chips used to be served without an additional charge.

Well last time I went to the Lone Star I think they were.

Yeah, it's all Ozzie beef, and they are leaner than North American cows. Everything is leaner outside of North America, especially the people.

all in all the presented salsa was fresh, tasty... not the so salted canned one. great appetizer for 40 baht.

I also don't recall being charged for the salsa and chips at T.R. before. That's definitely not the way the Mexican restaurants where I live do it.

Funny...and so true. Unfortunately the disease is spreading throughout the world, especially if te burger diet takes hold!

Onions don't add taste? The classic burger IS onions, tomatoes and a hunk of cow ..none of this cheese, mayo, guacamole and what have you.

Maybe you are allergic to onions. I know someone who is, and gets horribly sick with even a small bit of it.

Chips and salsa always used to be free there but 40 baht is not a bad price. Don't care for their Mexican food at all but their burgers, steaks, and ribs are very good. Also like the Margaritas!

We will be running some special promos with free chips and salsa among other specials and additions. Stay tuned for them! One coming up now as a matter of fact.
