I've been wandering around muttering 'Bollocks' under my breath whenever the football comes to mind…….'Bollocks'

Anyway I blame the last manager………..that's when it all went to rat-shit……..Take a look at this training session…….."Bollocks'

Do you have a version of this with subtitles?

Group of death lol. Try group G for a real challenge.   Looks like the lowest ranked team will win the group.

Hi,   The World Cup is in a very glamorous setting this year, Brazil. I’m sure some on here find Brazilian women almost as hot as our Thai ladies so there are a few reasons to go if one has the mone

Saintly Mrs Gonzo was smart enough to have a good sleep last night instead of watching the poor games shown. She seems to know more about football than I do. One thing is for sure, if it would not hav

Hi,

Iran give the Argies a scare. Ghana remain in with a shout after an excellent result against Germany. Hope Ghana go through as they look the best of the African teams. Nigeria are outplayed by Bosnia, who have a good goal disallowed and Dzeko misses numerous chances, but still manage to win..

Oh my word!

Oh I say!!

As England have had their arse kicked……'bollocks' IYou can see that 'm getting into Wimbledon, 'Cracking shot by Murray' mood.

With a German coach and the passion they play with and better luck I think USA will do it.

I do hope that Americans in their bars are getting caught up in the drama of 'Soccer'. Compared with the perpetual and almost instant gratifications of the slam dunks in Basketball it must seem a bit slow.

It's still wide open in the group. I could do without the drama.

I would rather have the drama than the absolute certainty that my country has!

Damn that was so close to a win for the US! Now we have battle Germany on Thursday. I'm going to my favorite Portugies restaurant on Thursday to watch both games at noon!

Hi,

USA were unlucky to concede such a late goal. Still they are doing well in a difficult group. Algeria have a good win, the North African teams can play a bit.

Was watching the Brazil game live and was planning to watch the Mexico game on delay when an English cunt opened his face and told everyone about the Mexico outcome. CBC was very cautious regarding giving out too much info but this cunt just jumped in and spilled the beans. He should be sued for millions in lost revenue as I'm sure he was forewarned about opening his stupid cunt mouth.

I read your post and can sympathise (that's a crumb for our cousins there).

Then I read your sig and cracked up.

I wonder if England will show up for tonight's meaningless match with Costa Rica.

The Italy Uruguay match will be a slugout match with the winner moving up...a must win for Uruguay. Suarez had better wear protective padding.

Naturally I'll be watching and still very interested in England's match. I'm hoping for a good and passionate performance……..But clean. I don't agree with Rooney's statement that we should be more cynical in our play. For me that would be the last straw.

I was looking up countries by discipline records. Even before the red card system there were sending offs. England's record from 1930 to 2010 is OK given the number of WCs participated in but it is not spotless.

I don't think cynicism in any sport is to be admired.

My old football teacher at primary school used to say to us before a match……."Listen scum-bubbles……Today you're all little James Bonds. Quiet, determined, no fuss whatever happens…. just get on with it."

And Suarez might be biting again. . Sure looked like he took a bite out of the Italy player's shoulder

He indeed did.

Third bites a charm?

edit: I love the man's talent. However, he has a serious problem controlling his impulses and needs to be severely disciplined. He needs a suspension again with the understanding that any further incidents will result in a life long ban.

It's s damned shame. He's such a good player, but has a serious psychological problem wrt biting people.

He's Nicaragua's chief weapon, and it's impossible to ignore or explain away the biting of Cheillini shoulder. He's toast, and he's taking his nation with him.

He needs help. .

I can think of a few incidences where our 'star' was also known to be lacking in self control, and was easily taunted and got himself sent off.

Football, when you were at primary school must have been dangerous, I recall heavy solid toed boots, steel studs and a case ball that was responsible for many a concussion.
