Afternoon gents I will be coming to to Pattaya for a week in September as our last stop for annual trip.

Long time Pattaya visitor but choosing between the following hotels at the moment.

Caesars palace - is it near soi 7 or up that end of town?

Arecea looks good know the area pretty well. But know there is an old and newer side which one is best?

LK Residence looks gook but where is it, not soi Diana by the looks?

Coming with Thai wife of 20 years married so not single but we like our comfort a bit nowadays.

Appreciate any advice or other suggestions love soi 10 to 13 area beach road and pool.

Thanks in advance.

I enjoyed staying at the Amber Hotel,  its the other side of soi Buakhau from where you want but only 100metres from Treetown.

We've stayed at the LK Empress (corner Beach Rd. and Soi 12) several times in recent years and really liked it.  Well-appointed rooms, friendly, helpful staff, unbeatable breakfast buffet, fantastic Indian menu for lunch and dinner, clean pool area and gym, adjacent to TQ, across the street from the beach.

We're coming back to Thailand permanently next month, and are considering basing ourselves in the LK Empress for a month while we look for a condo.

LK Residence is indeed in Soi Diana, though if you want to be near the beach then LK The Empress on Soi 12 might suit you better.

Best rates are gotten through Agoda in my experience.  It's to the point where the staff recommends you book with Agoda while you're standing at the reception desk, then when the reservation hits their computer they give you the key to the room.

Thanks all gents I have booked lk residence.

One reason many moons ago in about 2000 I stayed at Diana dragon ( yep shit hotel) but youngish and first trip to patts.

It has changed heaps over that time.

Thanks monkey man for confirming it is on soi Diana. Bruce spoke to missus about lk empress she said bullshit too much 😁 but I do like the location

I usually stay at a lower end and cost hotel as a single guy.  But 2025 I had to move due to excessive noise from a gogo bar across the street and stayed at the LK Princess.  Nothing but good to say about this place.  Breakfast buffet is awesome.  Room was nice.  Service good.  And parking if you have a car.  A little pricey if you are staying for several months at a time but otherwise I would use them again.

LOL!  It's actually my Thai missus who is pushing for the LK Empress this time around because she likes it so much.  A friend of mine stays at Sutus Court and recommended it, and after looking at the website I was willing to give it a try.

We'll be there when you're there.  Maybe we could have a couple of beers while the girlies argue the toss.

Enjoy your stay, mate.

Hi there Kev. Can I suggest that rather than a single name that you look at Soi Ten in total. There are a number of good hotels there (Page Ten etc.) and it's between the beach and Second Road so handy for your preferred location. There are a heap of bars and restaurants in the area but the soi itself is quite quiet. It's a few minutes from Central Plaza if you want shopping.

Thanks teelack will check it out next time, got a Superior room at LK residence for 1,900 bahts a night, about $85 AUD so suits us, short walk through Mike's and at beach road no prob.

Close to hammer's bar, kiss and Beefeater etc. so ok for us

The rooms at hotel seem bloody huge 60m2, we will see when we get there only a week stay anyway.

LK The Empress does the opposite. The staff at their reception desk recommend that you cancel your third party booking and book direct with themselves for a substantial discount.
