  1. An inch of rain over-night. That is how a rainy season should be!

  2. Death Wish.
  3. I still get the hanging when posting. As said every now and again one seems to go through as normal, but I would say it seems worse this morning. I can hit refresh to proceed, but not sure how long I need wait to be sure the post has entered. Can't see any rhyme or reason yet. Hmm, that one went in fast but the page didn't refresh automatically. An edit works as per normal.
  4. So 2000 baht a year from Mr Egg, should go a long way!
  5. This is a test post. I just tried switching in a USA based VPN server and although less sluggish, I am still having issues when posting, namely the waiting/working indication persists a long time, and the thread does not get refreshed automatically. The post goes in though.
  6. No picture/logo in the top banner... I just figured out what looks different!
  7. I do not have the ability to vote up or down any posts (reputation). No green or red click boxes there.
  8. Or the poster whose signature takes up the most space and bandwidth, like a parking charge.
  9. Yes, me too. I am also having some posting issues with sluggish response, and the forum not kicking me back to the thread with my new post in. I am suspicious the latter issue is related to my ISP, browser or an in Thailand issue though.
  10. Me too, and I don't really use other boards. unless it was linked on Stickman or Thai Visa.
  11. It looks very similar to the one I posted!
  12. Well the warnings are out again...... 32 provinces on alert for Storm Mujigae BANGKOK, 3 October 2015 (NNT) – The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has instructed its local units in 32 risk-prone provinces to be prepared for relief operations as Storm Mujigae is likely to bring stormy weather to the upper part of the country. Director-General Chatchai Promlert disclosed that Tropical Storm Mujigae would grip the upper North, Northeast and East between 4 and 6 October. Provincial relief offices are closely monitoring disaster-prone areas in 32 provinces and get ready for relief operations, as the storm might trigger flashfloods and mudslide. Watch it here.
  13. I had one removed at the place on 2nd Rd and soi 6. It was very well handled. This was an upper one which may well be easier to do.
  14. I got it on my phone ready for that day my Mrs says make your own way home! I too would like to know, since Pattaya taxis refuse to use their meters will they also baulk at a pre-defined price from this App.
  15. At 60 years old I am not sure a lifetime guarantee for half a million baht suitcase is going to sway me. There is a second hand shop across Hwy 36 where Japanese leftovers are brought by containers, I think I will shop there first. $13,000 for a suitcase, in Pattaya!
  16. Here too, just got serious. Watching my pool boy vacuuming while wearing one of those waterproof hooded things, looks like a big green condom running around.
  17. Just a bit of spitting started here (North of town) but heavy, dark looking skies. Temperature has dropped too which normally indicates something heavier....
  18. Looks like there is a bit of one in the Bangkok area right now..... Link
  19. Yes, I do. I might be concerned on a non-secure wireless connection, or some public type place. I would not use someone else's, or a public use computer. You could install a VPN on your own computer.
  20. Rather basic, no place to put a beer down.
  21. If you have an old style analogue watch with a date window, don't forget to crank it on +1

  22. I leave that to the little fellas, geckos. These leave long shit stains down the walls, apart from the noise. I can live without them.
  23. Yeah, they are the ones The Scorpion Lady has all over her at the Khon Khiao open zoo. I found a dead small scorpion in my water bucket the other day, first one I have ever seen.
  24. Caught this chap this morning, he wasn't keen on it, particularly as he came looking for the noisy female in my roof that is far to wily for me. This fellow will re relocated a few Km away later. They appear to be able to change their skin colour .
