586 million baht project to expand Jomtien Beach
jacko replied to Bazle's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I always felt these types of resorts were simply a way of locking tourist in..... too far out of town to get back and forth and a captive customer base that could be charged any price. Yes they might provide a good quality of accommodation, service and food, but in reality you could be anywhere. -

586 million baht project to expand Jomtien Beach
jacko replied to Bazle's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Many years ago Jomtiem Beach was the better alternative, where there was a decent beach and cleaner water than Pattaya Bay. I didn't think the beach itself had deteriorated that much, the water quality, yes. -
I have downloaded it but not yet had an opportunity to use it. Downloaded based on a couple of good recommendations and fed up that Grab had put up their prices. (Hate their food delivery drivers too, keep buzzing me and causing me to start)

Take your charge off the meter he refused to use.

Haha, that made me laugh a little..... I often get on buses at Ekamai that look so old I wonder if they will make it, they of course do, but maybe a little more sedately, which is good. Thanks again.

Condos built 2016-2020 that are well reviewed?

Two pals there both have extra studio units they usually rent out, and as far as I know are sitting empty. They usually get very lucrative renters over high season and especially the peak period. Not this year. -

Pattaya should not be needing much water this season...... unless we have a Songkhran. -

Losing Weight in Pattaya

Yes thanks for taking the time and making the effort. I don't want to be a snake oil salesman but a few friends seriously recommend black (fermented) garlic and claim it has reduced their blood sugar levels allowing reduction of medication. Also blood pressure improvements, again allowing elimination of medication. Keep it up. -
I don't wish to be pedantic but my neighbour fitted nice mozzie screen doors onto his terrace to go outside..... cat seems to have figured them out already. I really would be scared to have a toddler and a balcony...... I am scared of a high one myself!

I would expect THB.

Did you get the OK from the condo management....?

Maybe they will put AC! It is a place I would like to browse more in but usually too hot! PS Isn't it behind The Marina rather than Central (to me that is Central Festival)? -
If someone is standing too close behind at the ATM I do it on theirs.

I have fixed more things and come out looking like a magician by pulling a circuit board out, and pushing it back in than I care to remember.... I called it push-pull faults.
-
Seems I never had that problem.... but using an eraser to clean up contacts a touch is an old 'fix'.... overdo it and any thin layer of gold there is gone. Had the cards for a long time? Keep them loose in your pocket? I actually just replaced mine as I think I left it sitting in some machine.

Very much so, thank you.
