  1. Wow, got an answer to my concerns in only an hour and 44 minutes. Thanks for the reply, and giving a heads up on your perspective. It's never easy being in a service industry. I imaging that in a foreign country, would compound that considerably. So, Peat, are you saying that you have been there when I have? Quit being so low key, and stop by and say hello sometime.
  2. I used to have a girlfriend in the US that would check history to see what I had been doing on the internet. Then she learned to check the cash as well. We had a lot of fights over web sites that I had looked at. I got Window Washer to cover my tracks and make life easier for me. I used it every day back then, now maybe once every week or two. I ran it, and then went back to the site and checked. They still knew where I had been. This site only looks at the 500 most used sites, but more could be looked at by any other site we go to.
  3. I'm going to agree with the place going down hill as of late. I went in last month and ordered a burger, it came with cold fries, that tasted like they had been sitting for a long time. I did something that I never do, took it out on the tip, and didn't leave one. As I walked out, I noticed others had not eaten their fries as well. A few days later, it happened again, I didn't leave a tip. The next time I was in, my GF told the server that I was moho because of the fries, and I wanted them hot this time, or no tip. They came piping hot. Like any restaurant, there are always little thing
  4. Take a look here, see what web sites you visit know about you. http://whattheinternetknowsaboutyou.com/
  5. I agree. Dale has jumped on all the boards in an attempt to push his new business. He seems to have got two reactions. The tourist say good luck, I'll try your place when I get in town. The ex-pats and frequent visitors have said good luck, but I have had this experience in your place in the past. They then state their concerns, or suggestions. Dale's reaction so far has to defend himself, and Bob's. You have noticed, as I have, that it would be better to say "thanks for your input, I will look into that, and address your concerns" In his defense, it must be tough to take over a b
  6. Saw a dog get hit by a motorbike yesterday. Luckily the dog did better than the two thai guys that went down when they hit the dog.
  7. Interesting, all republican women are young, and all democrat women are old. Does that mean as women get older and smarter, they change party affiliations? Young and dumb = republican?
  8. Poor guy. When he told the staff that he had just been bitten by a cobra, he probably expected them to get help, and waited for help to arrive until he died. Little did he know that Thai's are only in a hurry when they drive, and three days waiting time is perfectly acceptable.
  9. Soi7 posted on another board that Secrets will be open. Not that it matters to me, I'm going to the beach, and taking my own drinks.
  10. Your story does not surprise me. Thai's are giving as long as they can show off doing it, or get some credit for doing it. That same girl that ran off, may have bought drinks for a couple of Thai girls that same night. I remember taking a girl to a big Wot 20 years ago. There were many donation boxes thew out the Wot. One of them had a book where you could sign your name if you gave an offering. I didn't see anyone put money in any of the offering boxes, except that one. The lady I was with, gave at that box also. At that time, I learned that Thai's won't give unless they get credit
  11. Tigglebitties does have chilly, it's good, but I wish they would make it a bit spicier. A few chunks of jalapeno peppers would make it perfect. I ask for extra onions, and then add some Tabasco.
  12. I was thinking about this the other night as I was watching the news. I really don't want to go through a body scanner that can see threw my clothing. Maybe it would have been fun when I was 20 years old, but not now. I don't want some guy feeling me up either. I decided that I should have the option of having a woman do it, at least I could get some enjoyment out of having a woman feel me up. Then it hit me.... What I want is a lesbian to frisk me. If I have to have some stranger feel my body in a way my friends and relatives aren't allowed to, I want her to detest it as much as I do.
  13. Dinner was great, as was the company. Our group filled a big table. A couple of my friends were at the bar, I hated not being able to invite them to our table, but there wasn't an empty seat. Dinner was great, and...Pumpkin pie !! Woo Hoo, it's been more than two years since I've tasted pumpkin pie. Luckily my girlfriend didn't like it, and I got to eat hers as well. It would have been nice for the group to stay a bit longer, BS, and have some fun.
  14. Damn cat. It comes into my yard each evening and shits in my garden. Thai houses don't have a lawn, just tile. I have a small garden space about 1.5 m by 3.5 meters. Not much dirt, but this damn gray cat insists on using it as a litter box. At home I'd just shoot it, and be done with it. Cat shit stinks !! My GF wants to get a dog to keep the cat out. Right,,, Clean up dog shit so that I don't have to clean up cat shit. That makes sense.
  15. 12 hours + 1 hour That is 13 hours of our day for about 100 baht an hour of our day. That's $3.45 an hour. I've worked movies before, and never had to work those kind of hours. Are the Thai's/Danish that inefficient in their shooting schedule? I think you need to sweeten the pot a little. We should get to play with the girls, and at least have free beer. After all, if you want that real monger look, we need to be glassy eyed drunk, with smiles on our faces, and boobs in our hands, and little brown bums on our laps.
  16. Would a work permit be needed? I don't see where a bunch of mongers would have work permits.
  17. This will not be Buffet dinner. That's a plus for me, I like fresh food, not anything sitting in a pan for hours. Expect American foot ball to be on the tube. It's bring your own couch day, so if you want one, bring your own. MM, there will be gravy. You don't have to sign up, but I talked with the owners wife today, she said that she would like people to show up a day or two beforehand and let them know that you will be attending so that they know how many turkeys to cook, and how much food to have on hand. Up to you, if you do that or not. For those bring a Thai lady, they h
  18. For us Americans, Tigglebitties is the best food in town. Their breakfast is fantastic. It's owned by an American, who's Thai wife owned and ran a restaurant in America for many years. She spent 35 years in America. You can bet the food is up to our standards. The last two years I ate Thanksgiving dinner in British owned restaurants. If you have done this, you know, they don't have a clue what a Thanksgiving dinner should be, and they charged twice as much. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner at Tigglebitties. Since I'm already sounding like an advertisement, 55 baht beer,
  19. I'm thinking the same as you. I haven't seen it, or even heard of it. Never even heard of it talked about.
  20. I'm looking for a dog now. If anyone knows of a German Shepard, Husky, or Chow Chow in the Pattaya area, I'd sure like to know about it. Even a mix would be OK. I'd like something bigger and smarter than the typical Thai dog.
  21. Go south on 3rd road, the first light past Pattaya Thai turn left, follow the road until you see the Eden club and Eden hotel on your left, the next soi on the right has houses in your price range
  22. This afternoon I felt a big dump coming on. I drove home because I don't like using public toilets in Pattaya. Soon as I sat down, I cut lose with a massive fart. It made me wonder, sometimes I think I have to shit, and it's only a fart. Other times I think it's a fart, and a bit of shit comes out sending me to the toilet for a good wipe. If I had to chose between the two, I'd rather drive home, just to fart.
  23. What do you want to reduce your cost to? Do you have a figure in mind? Give a list of what is important to you. Multiple air-con installed, big screen tv, number of bedrooms and such.
