I'm from S.E. Connecticut. I think you should have listed New England as another universe. At the very least I live closer to Cork than Anchorage so I think it should be listed as the British Isles. I always wanted to live on an Isle.

Pattaya to Samui would be a long way by ferry. about 50 NM from Patts to HH about 200 NM from Patts to Samui Plus about 25 NM from shore the entire 200 miles. Bad weather = Holy Crap for a loooong time. Even the 50 NM trip I would choose my weather window carefully. Could be a very uncomfortable ride if it starts blowing snot.

Good find. I have paid 1000 - 1200 for places a lot less nice. LK Mansion was one of them that comes to mind. Anyway, by many peoples standards you have money to burn. Pattaya and Bangkok are getting more expensive and the whole scene is more complicated. The internet must have a lot to do with it. For a short fantasy trip I would try and get a suite at The Vault. Expensive, but worth it if you are bringing back several girls to your room.
