New "gentlemens club" opening soon.

Recommended Posts

We are opening a gentlemens club on Pratnamak hill soi 4.

It will be open in November.

Its the same style as kinnaree.

Its called Sapphire Lodge, it has 16 rooms, 134 seats inside, outside bar/kitchen and swimming pool.

There should be around 50 girls hopefully.

Here are a few videos I took today of the progress.

Bar area, two levels

In all fairness my last two visits to FLB I was also ignored not even one person said hello, I was there for more than an hour before finally leaving.

Sorry..just realised this is the business forum..It should be moved to the " Fool the tourist with a fancy name" forum.. Moderated by Shhhhhh

Many girls 10/10.   LOL, now I know for sure that you are full of shit.

What exactly makes this a Gentleman's club....? :clueless

I see no luxurious furnishings or comfy leather chairs where a customer can relax, sip his whiskey, pretend to read a newspaper and catch glimpses of a girl's panties as she bends over in her uniform knowing that at any time he can take her upstairs and shag her???

There is no Gentleman's fantasy that I can see in the pics just short time rooms... :clueless

You will be required to say "thank you" to the girl. Very gentlemanly stuff.

Oh, c'mon, it's 2011 in Thailand, too. London's gentlemen's clubs have relinquished the name.

From watching the videos during the construction phase, I cant imagine how you would know what kind of chairs and furnishings they might have.

It might be prudent to wait until the remodeling is finished.

I doubt visitors to the new club will be expecting a traditional West-End-style gentlemen's club. Potential customers won't be much interested in over-stuffed armchairs or newspapers.

English is a very flexible language and for many years in parts of the U.S., "gentlemen's club" has been a euphemism for brothels and strip clubs.

I just spotted this sign at Pratumnak Soi 5. Seems they are popping up all over.

I guess the definition of "gentlemen" ALSO has changed, otherwise there wouldn't be enough of them to fill one club let alone the coming oversupply.

In the UK the term gentleman's club is also used to describe lap dancing clubs ,

I'm sure sure the OP emporium will offer more ,

good luck with the venture .

PS don't gentleman prefer blonds ?

At least give it a chance to open before you all start the criticism. Could be a great place or could be the shits lets wait and see.

Can you point to a post that is critical, aside from Bullfrog's? I don't see any.

Bullfrog, please don't take words so literally... its not a gogo, its not a disco, its not a restaurant... and I feel the word bar, doesn't do it justice.

If we rename it, "Sitting down with sofa and bar type thing" its not as easy to say.

Gentlemens club is a word used quite loosely and to me, it indicates a place thats inside which is more comfortable/nice looking than an average Pattaya bar.

If you have any other suggestions, please let us know? dayclub?

It's got rooms and a swimming pool. I would have thought that made it a resort and spa. clueless.gif

Getting back to the Gentlemen's Club nonsense - I thought they were well established in Thailand as G-Clubs with annual membership etc. I've got to agree with dontcha's suggestion (for once) - since ST rooms are available on the premises, brothel would be a more accurate description, even if it is comfortable and nice looking.
