You can try Cherry"s restuarant on 3rd road, opposite where exzite used to be.They have different types of buffet

on different days.Prices vary a little but tend to be around 300 to 400B.

This place has a very good reputation.

Is the German place (Antons) on Naklue Rd still going. Pretty good buffet for those who like to eat hearty.

Dinner buffet at the new Hilton on top of Central Festival is one of the best I've found in town - top quality for 800B

Montien hotel (next to Hard Rock) has an "International Seafood" buffet every Fri night that is decent, but somewhat overpriced for 1,000B

Central Festival mall has a few buffet restaurants, but I didn't think any were especially good (not bad, just not great for selection, etc).

There's a place on one of the sois after Big C in North Pattaya where the Thais go to eat. Open air venue with nearly everything you can imagine available. I was there a year ago and it was 200 Baht for all you can eat. Unbelievable value for money. I didn;t eat though. I just got drunk while the GF and her Family pigged out.

I don't remember the exact location but it;s a big place. Look for an area where lots of coaches park up and it's more or less opposite. Worth your time seeking this place out.

Yes it's in that area.

Heading North on Second Road, it;s one of the sois on the right hand side after BigC.About half way up the soi on the right. Coaches are parked up on the left.

It's featured http://dancewatchers.com/Restaurants_recommended_by_Tik_from_dancewatchers.com_in_Pattaya_and_Jomtien.html including directions. It's the Fish International Buffet. I ate there last trip with friends and the selection was very good. Take your TG though as it's cook your own. It's 199 bahr per person now but good value.

Glyn.

Go to the Hilton for their Seafood buffet... (write us a review... I haven't been there...)

In Nov '11 it was245bt+required drink

has the standard thai stuff and acceptable german food IMHO, although It's an open-air/fan place, no seating w/AC, not sure what time the buffet starts (4pm?) or finish time (8 or 9pm?).

Montien stopped their buffets a long time ago...

They must have restarted them because they're advertising in a variety of places and I just ate there 3 weeks ago.

I've actually been trying Hilton's buffet several times in recent weeks - they have a different theme each day for lunch (350B) and also have dinner buffets every night.

General observations: great view & seating, but lunches don't offer a lot of meat/protien (similar to other buffets I've tried in Patts), though they do have a great dessert table.

The Montien seafood dinner had a lot of meat dishes, but I was put off the carverys because they weren't hot - despite being under heat lamps, both the lamb and roast beef were room temperature (for who knows how long).

The Fish is easier to get to but Ninja MooKaTaa on Sai 3 has better fresher food. Central has quite a few buffets ; including a steak buffet. You might wanna try Oishi , a steamboat buffett that allows only 45mins but has salmon sushi , ice cream and a few great drinks (green tea , coke etc).

If you walk towards Drinking Street from Big C , you'll reach a 7-11 (or is it Cheers?) and they have a mini food court with KowKaMoo and KowMenKai as well as duck noodles , pad thai crispy pork etc. Its so cheap and the portions are small so it seems like a buffett!
