I love Pizza USA East coast to be exact. I have been pretty dissapointed by the Pizza in Pattaya I am new to the forum and thought I'd ask. Maybe the world can help me out. In Pattaya Between Ocead and 3rd rd and pattaya south and north are my travel limits.

Thanks in advance Gerry

Try Thai food......it is pretty good.

Then there are quite a few French/Italian/ etc etc places for that western fix.

Of course there are Pizza places....... but I never eat it here,

You can Google Pizza in Pattaya but I say live a little!

I've tried pizza all over the place in Pattaya, and never managed to find anywhere that serves up or delivers a really tasty, generously topped one with the slightly crispy base I like.

The nearest to it IMO is Valentinos next to Foodland on Pattaya Klang. The worst are awful, stodgy, undercooked dough and e.g. a salami pizza with just four small slices of salami, one in each quadrant.

After 13 years in New York City (where you can get good pizza), I found Pattaya to be an almost total disappointment. Outside of the slices at the FLB monthly crawls, I virtually never eat pizza in Pattaya. The best I've had in Pattaya came from Mama's Cafe on Soi 6. It was good, equivalent to what you can get at a decent independent take-away place in NYC. But don't expect anything like the pies you get at Totonno's, Lombardi's or other legendary NYC pizza places.

Not to thread fuck but a couple back from Thailand tell me coffee is super expensive at pier 21 in Bangkok And you need some kind of swipe card to pay for the food.

Apparently the transport system is light years ahead of Auck NZ. Go thailand. :clap2

Thai's cannot seem to make / bake pizza like they do in the west and in general they are pretty dire , as evil said try the ones at mama's on soi 6 , they are about the best i have tried and would give them 7 out of 10 for effort at least.....!

Do not go to pizza hut on beach road , they are totally shite....!

I don't like the pie type pizza, I like the thin base, slightly crispy. Cosa Nostra on Soi Buakhao (south end), Stone Oven on Beach Road/soi 6, the Italian restaurant on second road (east side) close to junction of soi 6 all did good pizza when I was last in Pattaya April 2012. A lot could have changed since then so ymmv.

Isn't there a Cosa Nostra place on a side street off Soi 7? Or at least there used to be one there.

It's not in Pattays, but there's a good pizza place on Soi Sansabai in Patong Beach. I forget the name, but they use a brick oven.

Pattaya Pizza opened maybe 3 years ago and they were fabulous. Unfortunately, they went from great to shite to closed in maybe 2 years.

Hopf House often gets mentioned for having good pizza but I've never tried it. My friend and I ate there once and what we had was so bad it's hard to imagine that they can do anything half decent.

NY Pizza is good and it's my go to place but the last pie was shite. I'm giving them a mulligan however and will try again.

Best pizza I EVER had in my entire life was in Sicily, also done with stone/brick ovens.

Never been to Italy but surprisingly, the best pizza I've had in my life was in Sabang Philippines. http://www.vesuviospizzeria.com/index.html

Had a few pizzas in New York and they were surprisingly bad but it's too soon to write off the whole city just yet.

Oddly enough, the second best I ever had was from an Italian mom & pop shop in Queens.

I almost wanted to move there, their pizza was so good.

Stick to the topic of pizza in PATTAYA.

Pizza Company on Beach Road makes a decent pizza for Pattaya. If they were in Philly they would go out of business quickly.

I do believe that there's two Cosa Nostras (same owner) so you are probably correct. I've only been to the one on Soi Buakhao and they deliver also.

Hi,

I love good pizza, its all about base then sauce, but it is hard to get in Pattaya. However, I think I can get pizza in Pattaya thats comparable with most major cities that I've tried all over Europe including Itay. I am not claiming to have eaten pizza in every pizza shop in Pats but I have tried many.

My opinion the worst..............

1st Hopf House on Beach Road

2nd Pizza Hut on 2nd Road

3rd Pizza Company on Beach Road

4th Any of those stalls I have tried that sell pizza by the slice.

The best...............

1st Pizza Big on Nakula Road

2nd Mama's Cafe on Soi 6

3rd Sorry, but I could not think of another place I would recommend.

These are the only two places I would go unless I get a recommedation from someone I trust and then try, as I have guys tell me Hopf House was good!!! Hopf House, Pizza Hut, WTF must they have been on?

My son says......Pan Pan and cafe le Mar in Jomtien are the best..... Both thin crust. He too disliked 2 of the 3 Python gave a thumbs down to.

Im no expert but I quite like Lee's Diner on Soi Diana (adjacent) to Heartbeat. Nice thin crispy base and reasonably generous toppings.

If either of those are on Beach Road close to soi 5 or 6, I agree with your son, good pizza. Best? Not for me.

I agree with land shark ny pizza on 3rd road was pretty good. Still not as good as good pizza in the USA.

I also think New York Pizza is one of the best in Pattaya and have eaten there many times. They also deliver.

I'm not a pizza fan by any means, but I was just wondering whether the obvious wholesale hatred of Pizza Hut offerings here are specific to the Pattaya/Thailand branches, or to Pizza Hut worldwide. Their press in the UK does not seem to be too bad apart from being horrifically expensive.

My local Pizza Hut serves mediocre pizza. I was at a party recently were Pizza Hut was served. Ate one piece and that was all she wrote. Did I mention mediocre?
