Well done - my observations of other 'galleries' have shown that most of the participants spraying water everywhere have been Farangs, but yours show many more Thais having fun. Nice!

Great photos, soi 7 looks like a real battlefield! Just wish you'd buy a better camera :D On a side note, I have no issues with people coming up to me, wishing me Happy Songkran while soaking me, what I hate is the assholes hiding in doorways with huge water cannons in the middle of the night, praying on unsuspecting people passing by or the ones pouring buckets of water on nicely dressed women going to work...

I think you have had to much of something when your sitting in the middle of the road praying to a bottle of Sangsom. Ah carp I may have done that once.

I only saw 2 PVC pipes in the Jomtien pictures...showing mostly Thais playing water..compare that to the number on Soi 7 with a high proportion of farang.

Same on Walking Street today...I didn't see any PVC pipes and the water play was mostly Thai.

Something to think about.

Yeh those blue water cannon are a pain in the arse especially when some numb nuts blasts you straight in the face with it.......!

Great pics, Gabor! You really captured it!

I can see how it can get old to expats living there but to anyone who has not experienced it ..... is it really so bad?

Not until you get an eye infection, then many tend to sour on getting tainted water sprayed in their face.
