I'll second that. Just used Elite for the first time after three flights in Premium Laurel and it was crap. I won't pay for it again unless I'm booking a PL upgrade.

You can't go far wrong with any of these three. All recommended.

The bottom line is that you can access any room without passing through either lobby. The Deluxe C rooms next to the Ruenthai Pool can be a little on the dark side, especially the ones on the bottom floor as they're actually lower than the pool itself and are somewhat overshadowed by it.

You can avoid the lobby in Sabai Wing if you go in through Sabai Lodge and use the stairs at the end nearest to Beach Road.

I've spent five Septembers in Pattaya and rain really isn't a problem. It's unlikely to have any significant impact on your trip.

I like Sabai Lodge for its layout and location, but I'm not a fan of most of the older rooms. Windows too small and no balcony. If I stay there, I go for Sabai Wing.

I use a Pattaya based company who've always been 100 per cent reliable.

Just be aware that many of them use outside taxi companies, so no comeback on the hotel if they don't show.
