Christmas Donation Visits
Dungheap replied to Evil Penevil's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
That's a heck of a nice effort, Evil. I can't be in town to help out but happy to send a few yen. PM details how I can pay. -
By top four standards, Spurs suck Papps! Sorry to say it. Soldado not good enough to lead the line alone. People say the same about Defoe ... so why not play them together??? The replacements for Bale and Van de Vaart have been sub standard. Bring back 'arry!

United BKK-NRT possibly being eliminated 3/30/2014
Dungheap replied to MM's topic in Airline Discussion
Evil, I agree that ANA is not too friendly toward its Star Alliance brothers but I find it a very good airline if you book with them direct. On the routes I fly the planes are always modern and the service friendly and attentive. Cabin crew tend to be easy on the eye. Oh, and the beers flow! Tom, are you sure a huge boost in LCCs is going to happen at Haneda? I was led to believe that the window for international slots is very limited and the major carriers have booked them up, thus leaving Narita for the LCCs. The expansion of international flights from Haneda is bliss for people livi -
United BKK-NRT possibly being eliminated 3/30/2014
Dungheap replied to MM's topic in Airline Discussion
It's very hard to fly internationally on miles with ANA, need to book months in advance for that one allocated seat! -
Everton and Liverpool put on brilliant display of entertaining football. A draw a fair result, IMHO. Suarez's goal from a freekick was off the charts! I wonder if Chelsea want Lukaku back? :)

I beleive that is a puffer fish. They are poisonous. They're reasonably popular in Japan as a delicacy but every year the fish gets its revenge on a few fisherman. Thanks again for the pics!

A good chuckle MM. Thanks for the effort!

I hear ya! We're starting to look alright in open play, putting a few passes together, but Stoke seem to perform best against the top teams and don't show up against the likes of Norwich and other sides we need to pick up points from. Good win for Liverpool last night though I didn't see the game. Chelsea can't get out of second gear in the EPL and Mourinho must be concerned. Looking forward to tonight's matches. I hope Man U and Arsenal play to win but not so sure on that.

If Begabitch can score again this week he'll be Stoke's top scorer! The Potters need a win almost as much as Gabs needs a gag!

Stoke have found a new striker ... Thought Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs would have put up more of a fight. Disappointing results for them. The plot thickens. Meanwhile, Loved this 'arry Redknapp interview!

Thanks for that Tom! The "Chick Pea" is a very underrated player, IMHO. At the end Moyes threw almost every attacking weapon he had at us and we succumbed like newbies at a soapie!

Las Vegas Paul.......Updated Dec 12th 2013.
Dungheap replied to Terry Lee's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Never met th guy but he came across as such a cool, crazy, character! Hang in there LVP! -
The Potters: Defeated but not disgraced! Lost our momentum when Marko Arnautovic went off "cause he was apparently feeling ill ..." Man U celebrating like they won the league. FFS, get a grip! Kagawa got his chance but failed to impress. Moyes' squad lacks balance and is real top heavy. Palace also played with pride but that stupid penalty was a real kick in the nads. Solid win for Liverpool with Suarez in sensational form ...

Bangkok Trip Report, 21 Years Ago, w/ Photos

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Rhino! -
That could explain the "cheap" pricing.

Tony Pulis to the rescue?

This video was posted before about a year ago and I recall punching in some dates for a look-see. The fare came to around US$500-600 for the BKK-HK leg in first class. There are worse ways to spend that sort of money.

I don't recall seeing what your budget is. I have taken a few Japanese birds to Thailand over the years. We had a blast. Apart from a trip to Koh Chang and Patts, another suggestion is to stay on the river in BKK. We used to stay at the Mariott which has been renamed the Anantara. You could get a decent room there for $40-50 a night a few years back through Priceline. Good luck getting that rate now. Take in a few river tours, sunset cocktail cruises, etc. Shop till she drops and then head to Hua Hin. Train was relaxing. One left at around 1 pm ("Sprinter" I believe.) Gets to Hua Hin a

Confidence is a big thing for players at this level. Look at Ramsey for Arsenal. He was scared to shoot last season. This time around he bagged a few goals early in the season and has new-found belief in his talents. Bale's development last campaign at Spurs another example of the importance of confidence. On the flip side, Torres has never been the same player for Chelsea as his time at Liverpool where he was brilliant. Doubts starting to emerge in the minds of many Man U players -- a dangerous sign. Moyes still doesn't know his best team, nor how to shuffle his squad to k

Is Crouch really that bad? I know he is rubbish with his head despite his height, but he is (was) an international.
