Yes, Enjoy it fellas. I know I will, but would have loved to have shared the day with Aussie expats in LOS.

Hmm, (wherever possible, and anywhere in the world) I write down the address of any hotel I am booked into, in the appropriate language of the country visiting, to give to the driver of any taxi I use. It hasn't always worked, but generally does. Nowadays, most of the better hotels have a "print-out" section on their websites to be utilised for such purposes, and it comes in very handy. I guess it all comes with a little experience, and I reckon you won't make the same mistake again. In Thailand, some cab drivers can't even read Thai, but with an address in both languages, we usually m

Yep, sleeping tablets are not what they used to be and you can pop one, actually get to sleep, and wake up without a hangover, and ready to burn and turn. I used to be afraid of the aircraft crashing whilst I was asleep, now realise that it might be a better way to go.

Or you can try this one: http://www.metro-apartments-pattaya.com/apartment.php Dennis is a good bloke to share a bottle of Jamieson's with, the place is clean, but you have to go out for breakfast. No lift to upper floors, and a bit noisy on the first upper floor - middle floor okay.

Thanks for the pics. The food looks excellent, and so do the drinks. Could do with a few more ladies I guess, but then again, it isn't that sort of place, is it?

Agreed, Villa. Fantastic - just brought back so many memories that I had lost. Even though my first trip to LOS was in 1965 and I didn't own a camera back then, some of the ones in the 80s still evoke those old memories. AS he said, keep 'em coming.

I also came here in 1967, but with the Royal Australian Navy during Vietnam days, however, my first time was in 1965, also with the Navy - Loved it then and love it now! -
Yeah, they should get all those accident-causing sober pricks off the road so us alcoholics can get home safely.

Well done, Villa! Bloody beauty!

Oh, get out of it, Mate. It's a dying trade. (As if you haven't heard THAT before!!!)
-
Got caught wanking while sniffing my mate's sister's panties. Wouldn't have been so bad, but she was still wearing them. He went fucking ballistic! Made the rest of her funeral very awkward for both of us.

Yep; the Woraburi is on the right (looking down from Nana).

My wife says I'm from Hell, but I'm not sure....

...and it appears that Johnson won't be there... (according to Adelaide's media)

I'm with you, Obsession. Well done Rocky - I would think that there were some flood victims that appreciated your efforts, even if they couldn't understand why you may have been doing it. A great thought behind a very good deed.

My wife made me a sandwich for lunch today. I commented, "This tastes odd; what is it?" She replied, "It's crab paste." I then asked, "Where did you buy it from? Tesco?" She replied, "No, THE PHARMACY".

Extract from an ABC (Australia) news report today: Infectious disease expert Robert Booy says while dengue fever can be fatal, the chances of Irons dying from the virus are rare. "This is a rare event because this is a quite a common disease; 2.5 billion people are at risk of being bitten by the mosquito that caries the dengue fever virus, and indeed about 100 million people develop the illness every year," he said. "But only about 25,000 to 50,000 of the 100 million die. So well under 1 per cent are a fatality, and 90 per cent of fatalities are in children." But Professor Booy
