Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Thank Fuck it was only a snake or two. For a moment (after I read the title of the thread) I thought someone had put up a photo of me!

Fuck! I've been a much sadder sight than that on many nights!

I'll go with Smallpox Vaccination. I have seen many of these and they all look pretty much the same. I was lucky and didn't get that disfigurement. I got my smallpox "scratch" way back in 1964, and although I am aware that such vaccinations stopped some time ago in many coutnries, I have no idea when they stopped in Thailand.

Things that make you crazy in LOS........

Yeah, the Indian tailors annoy me too, asking "How Ya Goin' Mate" and trying to shake your hand, knowing that if they do, they have got you to stop. Bastards! (except when I want to purchase something, then it's okay ). Also, air conditioning in my room that I don't have some control over - I fucking near freeze to death in my sleep some nights in those places! , while in others I fucking well nearly cook. Cunts! -
The service in Thai stations is way better than most of what I get in Australia. I don't tip here, but I do tip in Thailand, and reckon it is worth it (only about 20 Baht though).

Toothaches are fucking terrible - you can't live with them. As for AIDS, you're gonna die anyway! Get the fucked tooth fixed!

As an Aussie, I thought they were almost all pretty good - some (of course) I have seen before. However, I have no idea of what the pie factory one is all about. Please explain!

What a great win by Ireland over England, eh? Bet there are a few sad faces over that one, but also a few very smily ones. Well done!

That is so sick! I was so terrified on the 1st jump attempt that I chickened out. If I had jumped that time and saw that rope, I'd have more than shit myself - I'd have died of a heart attack. Bastards!

Hell, I wouldn't give her ALL my leftover condoms - you don't know what will happen between her and the airport . Also, whether your plane will actually arrive or leave leave that day, or not.

If I'm down that way (Khao San Road area), I always drop into Oh My Cod - it's about the best in Thailand! -
Htc Desire/hd2 Or I-phone 4/3gs ?
yorta2 replied to LocalYokul's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Thanks for that. I have Android 2.2 loaded, but not sure if it is 2.21 - probably is though. -
Htc Desire/hd2 Or I-phone 4/3gs ?
yorta2 replied to LocalYokul's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Well. I've got a HTC Legend and I love it. However, as cocodile said (above) I also find the battery needs recharging every day. On the other hand, if I switch off the Mobile Wireless Network, it lasts for days. It seems that whenever the weather (or other similar programs) update as I'm moving around, the battery chews up power, and also the phone chews up money. -
, Joe! LOL

Yes, I find that their duck is really good and very tasty too. However, I have only had it in Bangkok.

Personally, I prefer this:

Yes, Enjoy it fellas. I know I will, but would have loved to have shared the day with Aussie expats in LOS.

Hmm, (wherever possible, and anywhere in the world) I write down the address of any hotel I am booked into, in the appropriate language of the country visiting, to give to the driver of any taxi I use. It hasn't always worked, but generally does. Nowadays, most of the better hotels have a "print-out" section on their websites to be utilised for such purposes, and it comes in very handy. I guess it all comes with a little experience, and I reckon you won't make the same mistake again. In Thailand, some cab drivers can't even read Thai, but with an address in both languages, we usually m

Yep, sleeping tablets are not what they used to be and you can pop one, actually get to sleep, and wake up without a hangover, and ready to burn and turn. I used to be afraid of the aircraft crashing whilst I was asleep, now realise that it might be a better way to go.
