  1. The point about many go go bars in Pattaya is that there is an 'overall experience' rather than a collection of stunners. Baby Dolls is a place that I go to for an overall entertainment package and that is what you get. If you visit the place a bit you will find that some of the girls are gems. This is not about looks. This is about ugly old bastards like me getting looked after and entertained. I have been going there for ages because I get the package when I want but the girls are also happy to leave you on your own with a beer if that is the mood that you are in. I can sit back and watch the action on the mat, on the stage or simply people watch. I have also been introduced to some interesting people by Manager Phil who really takes care of the clientele. I want to add that this is far from the only place that has an 'inclusive' attitude that hands you a package deal but it is one of the best. Well done for continuing to put photos here and reminding us of some of the fun times that we have in Baby Dolls and why this has become one of the most visited and entertaining places in Pattaya.
  2. Back to the original question. Like most people I like a dose of junk food now and then. I usually do not eat KFC but on an annual basis I get a voucher from them for a free feed as I am a shareholder. Last week I used mine and it was truly horrible. It was full of fat and left a puddle of the shit after I had tried to eat it. I checked with someone else who has cooking training and we believe that perhaps the issue is that it is just not cooked properly and that perhaps the oil is not hot enough hence not being sealed. Unless its free I wont be trying it any time soon.
  3. Looks like a good room. Fort me the deal breaker is getting back at night. As you point out its easy enough to get out of the place but getting back at 4 or 5 in the morning could be hairy. I agree that the place seems great value for money but getting a cab back or MBT would just not suit me.
  4. As I pointed out in a recent TR I stopped in here last month and had a beer with a mate. I thought that I would have a club sandwich as I had not eaten that day. The meal was so big that I could not finish it. It was a dearer version at I think 149 baht but was the only meal that defeated me in Pattaya! This guy has stayed there for a month a time at least twice to my knowledge so it seems that some see it as value for money.
  5. My guess would be that Dontcha is admittedly from Ireland where the emails originated? Can you give me a Whoosh too please because I have no fucking idea why you would say "More likely dontcha."
  6. The following took me a bit time to sort out as the people in the bank were not sure how it works. I opened an account at Kasikorn last year and decided to transfer money from my home account rather than carry the cash around. I was interested in getting this to work as I want at times to visit other parts of Asia without carrying cash around and sending to my account seems the best and most secure way. I will not go through the domestic procedure (although it was interesting) only the Thai side. I was surprised that an amount of 290 baht was deducted from my account to pay for the transfer and here is the breakdown. Inward Commission 200 baht (This is the minimum amount it is based on 0.25% with a max of 300 baht) Domestic fee transfer. 70 baht Lease line charges. 20 baht. So there you have it. On top of any domestic charges (and mine were reasonable) and the fact that I had to transfer baht based on what I could buy it for at home, there are costs to doing this. I am not complaining as it was prompt and secure and will be good in certain circumstances however the bottom line is that it is most cost effective to bring your home currency and change it at the best rate you can and then deposit it in the bank and use your ATM card at the nominated bank and have your cash paid free of commission or charges
  7. Had a friend get one of these recently. Being a bit naïve he took the details to his lawyer and paid the consultation fee! Same result as just dumping it immediately.
  8. Excellent. Its a bargain compared with what has been charged in the past.
  9. Thanks. Was it worth the trip there?
  10. Sorry Phil to miss out but be assured I will be there in spirit.
  11. I enjoyed this montage and wonder if katoey ever sleep!
  12. I cannot answer your visa questions but for me I would look at the following. Book to go to either place via Air Asia from Bangkok. Get the bus from one to the other. In this way you get to visit both places and also have a 5 hour bus tour of both countries. Three nights in each place will do it and then fly back to Bangkok. I have done this and whilst I enjoyed both places the accommodation cost of Singapore was well ahead of KL.
  13. Nice one and a reminder to me that I need a few days in Bangkok sometime this year.
  14. I too would be interested in finding out more. I actually took photos of the entrance as a reminder to call in and have a look and never did.
  15. If you want an almost iron clad guarantee of all being on the same property simply contact the Sabai Group as they have hundreds of rooms in the same street.
  16. Coming from someone who has an opinion on everything and everyone even when you know nothing this is a bit rich!
  17. I have been looking and somewhat careful where I step but I have not seen a needle or a syringe yet.
  18. His bar-his rules. No different to any other bar in Pattaya. They all set their own rules according to their own agenda.
  19. Thanks as usual. Just to finalise this Kalbo thing does it mean that shaved pussies are finable or is it the other way about and that hairy beaver is mandatory?
  20. The sale of two titties. (Anon) The Hungry Lovers. by E Tudor-Titsoff Masturbation made easy-Awake with solution on hand.(Anon)
  21. Pattaya Beach today. Words for some of what you see will be superfluous.
  22. For me the major issue is loading photos. I try to clear cache daily now but I still rarely get the upload options -option if you know what I mean and then trying to upload is either a no go or hit and miss.
  23. Exactly which is why with so many farangs floating about that they don't get someone to write it up for them or at least run a critical eye over it. I realise that for some this is a face thing as when in NZ I re-wrote and Indian menu that had something like 120 errors in it. They had to pay me, pay to reprint the menu and in doing so made a couple of alterations and fuck me but they got them wrong.
  24. The last time I read this subject proof of Pattaya residency was required to get the card. Has this system changed? Its a bit dire suggesting that we emigrate to get a reduced price beer. IMHO a discount deal like this is quite counter productive and gives a discount to the minority, ignoring the majority of visitors who turn up on a regular basis.
