I took these pics in October of 2004. I was staying in the J. W. Marriott in Bangkok which is where the high shots were made from. I had wanted to go to the elephant show which is about 40 minutes outside of BKK and one of the girls at the Day & Night Bar just outside the Nana Entertainment Plaza had a girlfriend with a car and we took that to the show. There was more to the show than just elephants, they had a Thai wedding, showed traditional Thai dress from the past, a martial arts session and other sessions which gave an insight to Thai life in the villages. It was worth the trip. There are a number of pics showing Thai homes on the canals in Bangkok. I rented a longtail boat and a driver to take a lady and myself on a tour of the canals. Some of these homes are quite nice. I took this same tour with some friends in Dec. of 2010 and many of these homes showed flood damage.

There is a good clinic directly across the road from the Vault Hotel. Can't remember his name but really good if you need help. I have been there several times over past 8 yrs.

My experience has been that the Thais will cellebrate anything. This is my wife's first Christmas in the USA and she insisted that we get a Christmas tree which she decorated.

Not so sure these Russians are bringing wives to Pattaya with them. The are usually too good looking to be wives. Maybe girlfriends.

Just before I left Pattaya in mid January I ate there with 2 friends. Part of my meal was stone cold. I finally got the attention of the server and she said she would bring me replacements for the cold items. She never came back until she brought us the check bin. I asked her what happened to the replacement for the cold items. She just looked at me and said nothing. We paid and left. I will have to hear reports that things have changed before I return. Prior to this visit I have enjoyed good food and service but it seems to have slipped. -
Some of these morons must not have much to do if they have to come to the joke section to look for a fight. Sorry for them. After all, the sign on the door does read "Funnies"

I used Mr. Toom when I left Pattaya and relocated to Bangkok. I sent him an email asking if he had a vehicle that could handle 4 large suit cases as well as 2 smaller carry on bags and the girlfriend and myself and what would the cost be. I also made the same inquiry to Mr. T. Mr. Toom sent me a reply within an hour and included a pic of a SUV which would be available to us at the regular rate of 1,200 bt. I received a reply from Mr. T the next day and he stated he had a vehicle which could handle the load for 1,800 bt. Went with Mr. Toom for 1,200 bt including all tolls. Very good service.

Who is it?"� Sarah Palin answered back, "That's easy, it's me!"� Biden smiled, and said, "Thanks!" Then, he went back to speak with Obama.� "Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It's Sarah Palin!"� Obama got up, stomped over to Biden, and angrily yelled into his face, "No! You idiot! It's Tony Blair!"

Pig & Whistle gets my vote. If you are in BKK avoid eating at the German Beer Garden on Soi 7. I got a real good case of food poison there. Doctor told me they probably cut up their salad on the same cutting board they cut up the chicken.
