You reminded me of something I had seen before so I Googled it.

 

It goes back as far as 1940

 

My birthdate - "the Thing" by Phil Harris. One of my mom's favorite performers. She had some of his 78 rpm records. I remember one, "Loaded Pistols, Loaded Dice"

 

 

Funny what we remember from our childhood.

Well according to Wiki it was "Dreamboat" by Alma Cogan

 

 

Don't remember it though.

 

You must be an old bastard. :rolleyes: Poor Alma died from cancer in 1966 at the age of 34. John Lennon was one of her lovers. Alma was a better sort than Yoko Ono by a country mile.
