We stopped by late for dinner. Order came within 15 Minutes of ordering. I had soup and a sandwich. The women I was with had Thai food and she told me it was very good. Both of us came away more then satisfied. BTW nice selection of good looking FL for take away..

As I am arriving in a week, that is so good to hear. Last time I was over I experienced a sad downturn in quality and the time it took to get an order. I expected Pete to do something to improve it as there were quite a number of others who were saddened by the 'lapse', and it certainly sounds as if I can happily eat there again. :P

I ate there on a regular basis over X-Mas New Year and ALWAYS enjoyed the food and ambience.

Ther is nothing better than having brekkie overlooking the ocean with a cool breeze :thumbup

This has to be the best location in Pattaya to chill out and relax.

cheers

I ate there several times last November with groups of friends and really liked the food and service, we never really had to wait more than 15 minutes and the food was always hot and good. Always have nice friendly staff, I saw a few free lancers but i think the bar really has never taken off like that, its more of a great place to either chill in the afternoon or start your night. Overall a very good experience

Usually take friends there a few times each visit. Never had any bad issues. Nicer in the evenings when you can't see the ass end of some of the other buildings.

Nice place, but for food - not impressed.

Orderede the pizza twice. First time it came out kind of soggy (as in soft, not crisp), the second time - last summer - it came out "not cooked at all". I had to leave it all on my plate, uneatable.

"You should have said something to the manger", you may say. Yes, I did so on this forum. But it did not really help.

But for cheap drinks and good location this is a great place. For food, not so much.

I still believe that the PBG is the best innovation in Pattaya over the last few years. Can anyone else come up with a place, concept or innovation that has a permanent fixture and a "must go" place for a great many farang visitors to Pattaya?

Together with an American friend and his TGF, I ate at PBG last night. All of us enjoyed the food. He had a garden salad and the Chicken Cordon Bleu and his GF had Thai food. I wasn't very hungry and just had the tuna melt for 100 baht. San Miguel Light was 75 baht. The food tasted good and came quickly. No complaints whatsoever from any of us.

We were there between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on a Saturday night and just about every table was occupied with diners. The bar area had a decent crowd but wasn't full. I only saw a few Flers, maybe five or so and none had much luck in attracting male attention, at least while we were there.

PBG has established itself as a very reasonably priced restaurant with great views. I don't think it's had much success on the FLer front.

I find the food to be mediocre both fallang and Thai. I always wonder when people say their girl likes the Thai food that the girls are being polite.

Great location and never had a problem with service there and prices are reasonable for a western place.

FL???? Dogs mostly.

Very much looking forward to getting in there again. One of my favourite bars in Patts. Never had any problem with the food.

And the beer is the perfect temp.

A regular stop on my last visit. Food more than adequate with a pleasant atmosphere.

Could do with some better lighting on the outer tables so you can see what your food looks like and a few ferns and other plants would give the joint more of a "garden" ambiance.

I like PBG for the setting. Food is fine, not great not terrible. But the food isn't why I go there. It's just a great place to relax without traffic noise, vendors etc.

In fairness not the same. I go to the PBG most days but twice in 10 years for Nong Nooch is enough. Dont get me wrong as its a great touriist destination and a must see for newbies but it palls after that.

Ate there a couple of times.

Extremely average.

Montydog had a hot dog or similar there once, and it came out on 2 pieces of bread. :D

Just the wrong shape bread.

Used to be a regular haunt of mine, I'm on the last week of a six month trip, have to say that the food and service has notably declined.

My experience is that a good percentage of both the afternoon and evening waitress staff and female bartenders are freelancers, and many of them are attractive...if they like you, you'll be able to set up a rendezvous.

edit...I better clarify myself...it's not soi 6, the wait staff and bar staff are working a job...be polite, respectful and above all, discreet...they will let you know soon enough if they want to fuck you.

Kind of hard to rectify things after the fact.

I have eaten there numeous times with the last time being this evening. There was a period when things were slow but Pete has solved the issues.
