My AIS SIM picks up the EE network in the UK and have been able to do things like check my balance from the UK.

Yes there has been a change... On my last couple of trips we've flown up to CNX from BKK with Thai and there was 30Kg allowance. This time when I went through the booking process the 20Kg allowance was showing on when I selected the fare. I took the option off adding 10kg extra as it didn't add much onto the price of the return flight to BKK. TG also allow us to check-in at CNX for our QR flight onwards from BKK even though that booking is separate from our TG booking.

A couple of months ago I booked a BKK-CNX flight with Thai and 20Kg allowance was already showing for domestic flights on the cheap tickets...... but since Mrs Fiend loves filling her cases full of Thai ingredients I paid for extra allowance on our return flight from CNX Hopefully Qatar don't do an Emirates/Etihad and drop their baggage allowance down from 30Kg on the cheap tickets!!!

Bump it again and it will get locked...... Looking at you posting history on here it looks like the only reason you've joined this forum is to advertise things you've been struggling to sell on other forums....

Looks like you've been trying to offload this land for 5 years...... spotted you've been advertising it over on PA since 2014...... One bit of advice...... if you start thread bumping this, like you have done on Addicts it will get locked

This is the advice given on www.gov.uk I agree it's hardly comparable to the situation in Thailand..... Last year MIL broke her ankle and for a while was using a wheelchair and zimmer frame and even in the few places where there was disabled parking it was always occupied by fully mobile idiots....

There's selfish people all over the world and that's including disabled drivers with blue badge permits.... My local council recently added about 20 parking places for blue badge holders in one of my town centre car parks to encourage blue badge holders not to park on the double yellow lines on the road into the car park..... and the blue badge holders are completely ignoring those parking places set aside for them to park free of charge and they're still parking on the double yellows!!! My fathers got a blue badge and he will only park in disabled bays and he would never deliberately park on double yellows when he takes my mother shopping.

What would I consider huge? Well something like the Emirates order of 150 777X.... As an American (and Boeing fanboy, just like the vast majority of Americans) it must hurt that your company (Delta) orders so many Airbus airframes....

Wouldn't exactly call a firm order for 18 huge.....And Boeing have just lost 20 from an Etihad order...

So you think I'm an Airbus fanboy? ..... I've flown on Boeings many a time, but prefer Airbus planes as I find them more comfortable and less cramped . My next trip has QR A359, QR A332 (should have been A346) and TG 777 (luckily still 3-3-3 in economy).

ANA don't have the A359..... and the A358 development cancelled....

Production may be stopping but the A380 will live on and fly for many, many years....

Airbus are stopping production, but the A380 will be around for many years.... I imagine Emirates will keep hold of some longer than than they normally keep their aircraft for slot restricted routes like DXB-LHR and invest in a mid-life refurbishment. Sadly, Qatar have already announced they will offload theirs when they reach 10 years old

If he has changed the spelling of his name and it fails to match the spelling of his name in his passport surely they can refuse to allow him to board.

My dates in May have it as 2 of the 3 flights sitched to the A350...... I booked flights for 16th May until returning 4th June and QR27/QR28 have both come up as being A359 on the Qatar website......... QR21/QR22 showing A359 and QR23/QR24 showing 788 on the same dates....

My next booking with Qatar is the A350/A340 combo from MAN - BKK and return.... Sampled the A350 from EDI last October/November and the A350 is a huge improvement on the cramped QR 787 Nightmareliners....

I switched to Qatar a couple of years ago and after this latest move by Emirates I doubt I'll ever go back to Emirates

Me and MrsFiend do the same, we get sufficient top-ups to extend our sim card validity until our next trip, but not enough credit so that it is used up automatically renewing the package the following month. I've had the same AIS number for about 5 years now.

I was unable to access the site on my desktop PC yesterday, but strangely did manage to access on my mobile when I tried it on that... trying again on my PC later on resulted in no access again....

And it helps to be clean shaven as well when you wear a mask for respiratory protection. With having to wear respiratory protection at work I have to pass a test every so often and they refuse to do the test if you have stubble as it affects the seal.

It'll keep the drain cleaners busy after they've finished on Soi Buakhao!!!

Congrats on getting hitched Ron!!! Back in Sin City in May so I'll buy you and your good wife a celebratory drink then... When I got married, we got the "freedom to marry" affirmation from the embassy and then travelled upcountry to do the Amphur signing the next day.... The day after getting married we were back down in Bangkok sorting out a spouse visa application.... March 2019 will be the 10th anniversary of getting the ball and chain round my ankle!!!

QR21/QR22 showing A359 and QR23/QR24 showing 788 on the same dates.... Fingers crossed the amend the aircraft type allocations again before I fly.... Also managed to get the A340-600 to and from Bangkok...... wonder if I'll get to fly on A7-AGC which is the only QR A340-600 I haven't flown on!!!

I can always guarantee that on my way to the airport that I'll suddenly realise I've left something at home that I meant to take with me.... luckily I've always remembered my passport!!!!
