Drink Wise, What Do You Normally Order?

Everybody is different (God bless them); some go with the whiskey & mixers, vodka, beer, tequila, water, ice tea, orange juice, margarita (!), ... all the way to folks who might even order wine [in Thailand, ya].

 

What do you order when you go to a bar, agogo, restaurant, or other places? Be specific if you wish.

I have never liked beer so its usually sangsom and coke/sprite for me or just straight coke light if I am not drinking too much (ride a bike in pattaya)

But 2-3 weeks of virtually drinking everyday i struggle to keep up the beer so , i end up switching between Vodka Soda, Vodka Lippo's or Jack & Coke.

 

A guy put me onto Singapore Slings and a couple times every trip whilst having a swim in the hotel pool , I have a few Singapore slings.

Rum and tonic with lime. Refreshing boat drink in the heat. Never can get one though.

Best i can do is order a shot of Bacardi, buy a bottle of tonic if they have it. A slice of lime.

I think that's noble of you, and to be so much more effective, you should only drink them in places that make a very good profit and charge 170b or more.

 

Btw, my drinks are soft drinks or juice before 10pm, after 10pm Heineken beer or Gordon gin tonics with the occasional tequila or sambuca if asked.

As for brands, I really don't discriminate that much; when I started travelling to Thailand Carlsberg was still big, and I'd order that just to listen to the girls attempt to pronounce it - "Kaw-sa-bug"...

now I'm more likely to order Tiger - "Ti-guh"...

I'm a beer drinker and my choice while in LOS is Chang. During the day I drink those cheap 10B "energy" drinks just to keep hydrated while walking or the soda water flavoured with voghurt when I can find them (haven't seen the lemon flavour one for at least a year).
