I wonder if this is a support structure for a ground display for the upcoming Fireworks Festival.

Closer to home; It boggles the mind that someone thought it would be a good idea to position their clothes rack so it takes up half a lane of an already very narrow soi.

Back in 2002 when we bought our place on the darkside there was room in the street to hang the washing out like this.

Most people never had  car back then and it was mainly motorbikes at each house. These days most house at least have 1 car and if the kids are still at home maybe more. Now the street is full and it is a struggle to get a car through at times.

I probably lead a sheltered life, so this isn't something I've seen before. Transparent, plastic kegs. These kegs had Stowford Press on the label.

A few snaps from this morning's stroll.

When going cheap on walkway material, this is what the result looks like after only a couple of months.

When you walk on the panels you can feel them flex and give, so no surprise the damage done when motorbikes use the walkway.

Wonder what the dBA level is at the monitoring station when the festivals are pounding out music at volume 11.

The answer will probably be fairly obvious but what is 'TAC'?

Does anyone have any ideas about these buses/coaches?

I think it is a contract (often for 10 days) under which the girls work. 

I am happy to be corrected but in English I mainly come across the word as TAG. And I agree that it is the contract normally between 10 and 28 days.

I have always understood the TAC to be a short term contract, generally 10 days. 28 days I would regard as salaried. Some girls also seem to work on a come and go as they please per diem basis.I

There are so many different ways that girls are remunerated in different bars that it's not worth trying to keeping up with, just let them get on with it.
