I can't tell from the photos if it's where the trees were immediately behind the PBR (they were there in June!) or if it's on the other side of Soi 15 nearer the Areca Lodge. If it's the first, I'll be looking for a different hotel for November, if it's the second, I'll probably put up with it, so it'd be nice to know. Perhaps Saddic who took the photo could confirm? When I used to BF from gogo's I often would buy the mamasan a dink and have a quick chat before bar fining a girl. It wasn't to discuss the girl, or to negotiate, it was so that the girl saw me talking to the mamasan, that way I seldom had any problems with the girl. These days, for me, gogo's are for getting my engine running, I BF from beer bars.

Hmmmm, the PBR is starting construction in front of the hotel in October, is this another one? If so, anyone at the PBR is going to be hit from both sides.

These days I swear by Prickly Heat powder. Works like magic.

I had a similar issue from a clinic on an early trip. Near the end of a trip I got a crotch rash that wasn't getting better, so I went to a clinic and and was given antibiotics, which didn't help (and kept me off the beer!). On seeing my doctor back home it turned out to be a fungal rash and antibiotics were exactly the wrong thing as they lower your resistance to fungal infections. Some cream cleared it in a couple of days. The guy in the clinic in Pats was supposed to be a doctor!

I shouldn't think that Rolex are too happy either. An oik like me with a fake Rolex is one thing (not that I've got one), but someone who can easily afford a real one has to get their attention.

It was horrendous, I was stuck for an hour with only a single candle for light in a bar in Soi 6, fortunately there were 3 girls who tried their best to keep me from being frightened by the storm. I barely survived.
