I am sad to announce that Cherry Bar Too is no longer with us.

 

Due to the current economic climate in town, the bar has been up for sale for while. And today it has been sold. The new American owners are looking to convert my old bar and the empty bar next door and make them into one coyote bar, similar to Club Blu.

 

The new bar will be called the Daiquiri House and they are hoping to be open on the 1st October.

 

I would like to thank everybody who supported Cherry Bar Too, and remember it's still business as normal at Cherry Bar on Soi 8.

LOL Coyotee bar at that location that will surely turn out to be a hit :D

 

I personally preferred the bar in soi 8 to Cherry bar too anyway mate. Congrats on the sale will see you in a couple weeks

I am glad to hear it is closing Adam. For no other reason than it must have been straining your health. We all love you and will keep coming to Soi 8

Congrats on the sale of the bar. I'm sure your concern wasn't to make anything on the deal, but get out from under it. It served it purpose when all that construction was going on at your end of Soi 8 with building the new bars. Also know that is wasn't easy dividing up your time between the two bars.

 

I will miss it, because staying on Soi 13 I or we would stop in early in the afternoon for a beer coming or going to the hotel. Also was a good meeting place for the afternoon crawls.

BTW, what did you do with that game thing, Wii I think. need to keep my bowling skills up.

Agree with Malaka. Its sad because I used it as a local and had many good times there. However, even those of us that liked the bar realised that you could not realistically keep it going in the long run.

 

Good luck for the future and hope to see you in December

Congrats on the sale.... but it'll leave me in a bind :rolleyes:

 

My girl loved hanging with the ladies at CB2 while I watched football. Now I'm going to have to find a new spot to catch the games. Soi 8 is all right for a beer but not the best for watching the games.

Yup - nice bar, but not in the best location to attract customers.

Adam, congrats! as per our talk a couple weeks ago, hopefully this will allow you more time on CB Soi 8 and also some time to relax a little.. I will be back in November looking forward to a few more Jager shots...
