DK Car & Motorbike Rentals(2 New bikes now available)
yorta2 replied to PoolHustler's topic in Transport in Thailand
Mate, I've followed your advertising posts for a long time, and I think you offer a good deal. I have particularly read each advert for cars and have noted that you always mention the full rental insurance on each. What I have looked for and hoped to see, is any info at all about what, if any insurance is included (or available) on your bikes. Can you please enlighten me? -
Made my day!

Even Nok airlines have free wifi at Don Muang, also (at least) some of their other destinations. In Australia, Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin etc. have free wifi at the airports. Need to get a password for some, but for others, you just use info from your boarding pass.

Cool images! Make me a bit dizzy, though. -
Christmas Donation Visits
yorta2 replied to Evil Penevil's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Sorry I can't be there, any year in December. Fantastic work and I wish you all luck. I personally visit an orphanage each trip to LOS and take a load of vegetables, canned and fresh milk, babies needs, bottled water, etc. and don't usually tell my friends about it - it certainly makes me feel a lot better for the small contribution. -

I know we have a thread somewhere on here about this guy, but I know not where (sorry). I avoid him as much as possible, but, I came across this video based on the last stuff I read on here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBUj-wT7CkE#t=183 -
Update: Hamburgers and Other Food at Sky Bar on Soi Six
yorta2 replied to Evil Penevil's topic in Restaurants and food
Yeah Mate, sorry if it sounded as though I was criticising your post, but the orange stuff scared me. I always enjoy your critiques of the various eateries in Pattaya and they always give me some new insights for my next visit. -
UPDATED: Nicky's Bar and Restaurant on Soi Bukhao

Those shots are fantastic. My mouth started to salivate at the sight of the meals (all of them). -

What the Hell is that orange shit in your steak sandwich? Also, the chips in the other sandwich look a bit dry and overcooked to me. These shots of the food are not in the same class as previous ones (at least to me). -
I've used Macs since they first came out - many years now - and when I worked in a University, I had AV installed (a requirement). Now I am retired, and have been for nearly 10 years. In that time I have not installed any AV programs, although Apple have their own that would inform me if I had a virus (I believe??). I have never experienced any virus problems either.

Sorry; but I think I do know where Master Bator is hanging out.... (Right here at my house)

Hmm, thanks for the above. I'll still miss out, as I don't arrive back until April, and I don't get to the Darkside often - I get lost too easily over there (in more ways than one).

As always, another great and insightful set of comments. Thanks for the entertainment.

I've been told that one of my favourite breakfast venues, Tropical Bert's, has closed its doors, at least in its present site and may have moved to new premises, somewhere else. Please, what is the latest on that?

Fire and Stone Pizzeria on Pattaya Klang
yorta2 replied to Evil Penevil's topic in Restaurants and food
So glad to see this restaurant using sausage in the spaghetti, instead of beef. This is the Italian way and, as Evil has stated, main ingredients are imported from Italy. Perhaps Hungarians are not aware of that fact - Italians will cook the Italian way, when using Italian ingredients (and NO, I am not Italian, but just respect their food culture). -

Wow! Pizza is coming of age in Patts. I've generally avoided it for years in Thailand, but your comments and pictures over the past year have renewed my appetite for Thailand pizza. Thanks, Mate. -
Once again, fantastic! I love that #13.

Last time I was there was in 1968. Things sure have changed. Thanks for the 'update'.

Triangle Bar Business Thread
yorta2 replied to Triangle Bar's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Thanks for a great bar and a great 'thread' on this site. I have only visited the bar once (on my last LOS trip) so missed out on lots of entertainment. Was looking forward to taking a few friends there in April, so will await to see what transpires in the bar now. Whatever, have a great future, Chris. -
Some good ones there , but (as you recognise) I have seen a number almost exactly the same in Thailand.

Steak & Co. on Soi Lengkee (updated May 29, 2015)
yorta2 replied to Evil Penevil's topic in Restaurants and food
Yes, I have no problem with having it "on the side", and might even taste it, or use it on the potatoes. However, and I should have made this clear, not having sauce is just my own opinion. I tend to get serious heartburn and reflex from some sauces, particularly those that come in packets. I need to go back to Soi Lengkee and try the 'better', 'more concerted' efforts by staff. -

What! A good steak is ALL taste - sauce hides the fact that some steaks are tasteless. -
Not sure just who carries pepper spray on a 'run' in Soi 6 though.

Sorry about my lack of concern, but I thought this was a bit funny: Crazed Polish man causes chaos in Soi 6 Bar Zone PATTAYA: -- On Wednesday afternoon, Police were forced to arrest a Polish man for his own safety after he self-harmed and threw items over a 3rd floor balcony above a Soi 6 Bar. The incident occurred above and in front of the Solo Club and involved Mr. Denis Leszek aged 43 who was staying in a 3rd floor apartment above the bar and according to one of the bar workers he had checked in 24 hours before the incident. It was also revealed that he was seen taking a
